I agree half and half! I am a lvl 10 gymnast and yes there walkover legs are bent but their bridges where really good and the girl in the blue's splits were fab!! but yes it isn't a straddle!!

Others, she was sending them feedback on how they need to improve. On the other hand, they aren't flexible enough either. I'm in gymnastics, for about a month now, and is now the top in the class, even though they have been doing it for about three to four years now. How? Because I listen and pay attention. Even if there is only 9 kids
If I got down like that you would have to call the fire department to come get me up. How do you know if you are stretching enough to make a differnce without over stretching?
@Circusmnkee you should go as far as u can go and only hold it for 10 to 12 seconds or u will be very soar and loose ur new flexibilty the next day it is better to go slower and everyday so u will keep it flexible:)
Those bridges are not proper bridges as your sholders should be over your hands those kick overs weren't beautiful they were bent legged and really bad. When you said lets do straddle it wasnt straddle it was box splits. when you started over splits you never did over splits and the splits werent proper splits anyway. And there might be a good reason for this but the gymnasts in the background didnt seem to be working.
you can't say that they weren't back bridges just because the girls weren't flexible enough to hyperextend their shoulders. a bridge is a bridge. also he wasn't saying that they were doing oversplits, he was warning NOT to overstretch.
@vickyjones95 gymnastics is about having fun too. Not only this but depening on the level of these gymnasts those walkovers may have been beautiful for them. Those gymnasts are clearly not elite so why critisize so harsh? I am sure when they are training in the gym the coaches correct their gymnasts but this video was not a training session it was just to give others some ideas and demonstrate! It looks like you watched this video to be picky and start hating.
