I just love scenes like this between Squall and Rinoa and this scene is one of my favorite scenes in Final Fantasy 8. They are my #1 fav. Final Fantasy couple ever! With Sephiroth and Aerith my second and Cloud and Aerith my third. Working on my next favorite Final Fantasy couples.

@zackfair73195 sure... because zack is constructed with the purpose of being a perfect character, to be the oposite of cloud so its clear that he would not have normal flaws. squall its overpensative and introspective on purpose, to fit the story and create some development for the characters and his relationships with the other characters... so i dont really think you can compare them. in my opinion zak is a good character design but as a character himself, dosent belong as a main FF character

@machinazero the new characters designed by square enix were nowhere near the classic final fantasy characters. Squall for example, as much as a "queer emo" zackfair73195 might believe he is, was an incredible character, with every part of his character complementing the game's splendid plot. Zack, Angeal and Genesis had no meaning whatsoever to the name of Final Fantasy. Crisis Core was nowhere close to shifting entire lives of gamers as much as Final Fantasy 7-9 did.

@zackfair73195 he's like an overgrown sora from Kh, but we already have sora so zack is kind of repetetive. in terms of a final fantasy fighter, squall would totally pwn zack, zack dosent even has personal attacks, and squall would rape him with a single limit break. oh, and squall dosent even need to be a materia junkie to save the universe, while zack barely can save cloud :P but yeah, i respect your opinion, i liked to play as zack a lot, just didnt think the story could support him ;)

I think this is the definitive scene for me plus he says the greatest line straight after the cut scene that i had to say to my fiance " "No matter what happens, even if you become the worlds enemy, I'll be your Knight" excellent beautiful storyline. They had the tension and chemisty/design down to a tee in his game. I played it from start to finish and it became more than just a game to me =D
