NONE of us are born with ability to play guitar well... But some of us are born with talent... But still 10 hours of practice will forever beat all the talent in the world. "God did not give me shit either" per se but i had some sort of musical connection. Some people are and some arent.
2-an inner vision, a goal you're trying to aim. Without vision you don't do anything, you don't even practice, you don't give your time, you don't get anywhere, even with a gift. I know a bass player that is capable of playing EVERYTHING from his many Bass Vids and can't even play along the simplest song by ear. So what is lacking him?
Matt, you're a fine guitarist with impeccable technique. I see a lot of Wes M, Joe P, and even Howard R in your playing. Awesome! To Cujimi... sounds like you're an inexperienced guitar player... if that. Otherwise you wouldn't be making such remarks. Part of the respect man. I suggest you spend your time (lots of it) in the woodshed and then experience Miles's So What. Then you will realize that you wrote with your foot.
from the starting i thought, that matt is playing bass and guitar at a time, with 6, 5 and 4 strings bass, and with others 1,2,3 is playing solo... but later when dont play i saw that bass is going near... so i really like MO
awsome playing man really tight, the improv is perfect, but i would try holding out the first chord during the melody a bit longer, istead of giving them the same duration, i think you'll find it gives the beginning of the tune an entirely new feel
Where's the rest of the beginning? Very trad. Reminds me of Ulf Wakenius. It'd be nice if there wasn't a track light pointing directly into the camera. Other than that, nice tone and nice touch!
magnifique!!!!

It won't beat all of the talent in the world if any of the talent is also practicing 10 hours. And much of the natural talent does this.

You need 2 things :
1-a God given talent (You'd better not burry it)
2-an inner vision, a goal you're trying to aim. Without vision you don't do anything, you don't even practice, you don't give your time, you don't get anywhere, even with a gift.
