very cute, can this style be done while the hair is damp after shampooing or must it be dry and spritz? also i would love for you to demostrate finger wave sets i don't see much of it done
hey my name is day day i wanted 2 knoe if u had short hair n dat case how wold u b able too do a french roll would i have too add hair or how would i do that!!???
Yes, you could do the french roll with short hair...just as long as your hair is long enough to cover the hair wefts efficiently.
I would begin sectioning off the top of the hair. Then I would add the wefts vertically on the sides and somewhat diagonally in the back so that the hair can be combed into the french roll. The hair that is left out can be spiral curled so that it will give it a nice look and help cover any exposed wefts.
You do not necessarily have to create the hump at the top. You can pin curl the hair, add spirals or pull the hair straight back into the french roll.
i just did this on my doll and instead of tucking the leftover hair under, i just spiraled it and pined it up...it looked so cute! i want to try this do on my mom but i dont think she would like all of the volume in the front, any suggestions of what to do with the hair on the top?
also.. *When attaching the tracks, be sure to split the tracks to ensure that each weft is super thin. Most tracks come as a double-weft. You can use thin shears, a razor or small manicure scissors to separate the wefts.*
If your hair is thinning in the temple areas, I would suggest that you add long wefts in the top of your head so that you can create a beautiful "swoop" around your forehead and cover your temple areas.
For thin hair, I would suggest that you glue tracks (wefts) in your hair vertically (up and down). Vertical tracks will thicken your hair so that you can create your french roll and have hair to pull back over to the other side.
A foundation may still be inserted into the hair to create a bigger base.

Is it wrong to hate teasing the hair? lol. Any time I see someone do that I just wanna brush it out.

LOL!!! Same here.... Teasing is only an option... You can section the hair out for spiral curls, pin curls and more!

what about a camel hump at the top? would you recommend it?

You do not necessarily have to create the hump at the top. You can pin curl the hair, add spirals or pull the hair straight back into the french roll.

This specific style works best for hair that is not longer than your shoulders.

Excellent! Creativity is the key! :)
The video is a demonstration of the basic technique. You can change the style any way you want to add a little flair!

i want to do this on my mom but im not sure she would like the volume up front. do you have any other suggestions for what to do with the top part?
raychellex3 3 years ago
The top section can be transformed into spiral curls, pin curls, fingerwaves, etc.
Be creative. You'd be surprised how great the new style will look!!

Styling Suggestions for Thin Hair:
For thin hair, I would suggest that you glue tracks (wefts) in your hair vertically (up and down). Vertical tracks will thicken your hair so that you can create your french roll and have hair to pull back over to the other side.
A foundation may still be inserted into the hair to create a bigger base.
