I know it's a nice elevator, but I think they should raise the speed to around 200 FPM, so it can be standard hydraulic or MRL traction.

Hmm. Nice elevator, I agree. Could be a bit faster though for 6 floors. But that's just my opinion.

It said "Caution," but the other meaning was scratched out. In one way, it could be surveillance, but in another way, it could be basement flooding during heavy rains.

Yes, and some of the older Otis elevators have the jamb mounted fixtures, but I haven't seen them on the Kone elevators.

Yes, and I think hydraulic should be used for buildings with 5 or more floors. But I would go with standard and machine roomless traction anytime, since hydraulic elevators are environmentally dangerous.
