@tejo29se Actually, if memory serves me right, there is a type of protein humans need than can only be gotten from meat. So in essence, it's unhealthy to lean on either side. For me, a nice balanced diet of meat, seafood, and vegetables (all in moderation) is the way to go.

I think you are referring to amino acids. B12 is the only amino acid that doesn't exist in plants, but I drink cows milk and I eat eggs and I do take a multivitamin and mineral tablet a day to be sure I do not miss out on B12.

I don't know what a vegan does to get B12, but I'm not a vegan.
