yep i have the normandie 2nd whistle this was the first one she had 3 but i took the second one Strapped it to my car connected steam into it and blew it on the road

The whistle is powerful. It's a shame the recording of it is so distorted. It's not a true representation of its sound. It was obviously recorded from much too close to it.

Great whistle. Much better than Queen Mary's. If you don't agree, listen to QM2's as it is the same as QM's. QE2 has the best whistle at sea today-deep and loud!

Some sounds never get old...the timeless sound of a real steam whistle with real steam not just air coming through! Another great is the original Lukenheimer still on the Str. Delta Queen today. Check it out, its on here too. Just as great, but in a different way as she is a river steamer. Totally different kind of sound.
