2. I actually grew up on the "DeeDeeDee" pronunciation, but "DeDeDe" is apparently the official one (except for Brawl apparently) and it fit the song.

I spent a little longer than that. There's the issue of syncing the video and audio track to the karaoke track. There's also the issue of editing the lyrics to fit the music.

But you're mostly right. I decided that I didn't have the time to really make this sound like a "real" song. So, I went the other route and went for the really horrible karaoke route. I figured if I wasn't going lyrical, I'd go for comical. And as said, this was mostly for filler.

Didn't feel like spending 40 hours to go down to the audio lab, use the professional equipment, look up tutorials on how to cut down noise and get them to meld together, and then take the time to actually get good singing takes in character voices I often have enough trouble getting into in the first place much less in the hardest way to voice a character possible.

So, I went for the bad/funny karaoke route. Don't worry. I agree it's pretty bad. Not the WORST, but pretty bad.

There's a question of whether it's covered under fair use, but regardless, youtube owns the website and therefore their terms and service override generally where law does since it's a privately owned website.

I understand their stance really. The larger corporations will sue youtube instead of the users. So, they're really protecting themselves from a multi-billion dollar law suit. Sad that it means that my fan made music video has to go down, but que sera sera.
