wow, never got this where I live but love Gerry Anderson series so nice to be able to indulge in this nostalgia. Great stuff, Toy Story owes a lot to this series.
@ALBIONTYKE Call me a pedant, but 'gringo' is actually a Hispanic slang word for a non-Spanish-speaker, especially an American or an 'anglo'. The unacceptable term for a Mexican is 'greaser' and is, thank heaven, seldom heard these days!
@CinnAlla Fair enough, but I still cant get my head around how the hell that young kid walks through the door into that store without getting his strings all tied up.
@ALBIONTYKE When the kid walks through the doorway, you don't see the top of the door - there would be nothing above it in the interior shot. The exterior shot is a different model of the building.
@ALBIONTYKE No no, it can't be a genuine store - if they sold tobacco to a kid they'd surely be in trouble! (I did wonder if you'd posted the doorway remark in April though!)
This was made because up to about '63 westerns were the "in thing"..... Then came Supercar, quickly followed by Fireball XL5 to cash in on the Space race, that was after the launch of Sputnik etc..... all UK kids that were born in mid 1950's were brought up on theses programmes as well as Pinky and Perky... a much more innocent time... times that alas will never return..... RIP
Hi, Like many others on here i too used to watch this when i was a kid, and it is great to see it again, can you get anymore and thanks for putting it on here
Holy cow!! I used to watch this when i was a little kid back in my country El Salvador, it's so cool to remember times when i didn't have to worrie about anything, thank you, gracias!!
If only the kids these days had tv shows this good, I'm a young adult and I'd rather watch this than any Hannah Montana crap.

No wonder we were all obsessed with cowboys as kids - Westerns were virtually all there were on TV at the time!

This should be banned. Depicting Mexicans as evil gringo's is not pc, somebody should tell Tex Tucker & put him straight

I've seen mainly stills from this series.
It's fun to see a UK spin on that American icon, the western
I grew up on Gerry Anderson from Supercar on.
I see that the sculpts on the puppets are very exaggerated compared to Gerry's later work.

I watched so Gerry Anderson when I was a kid, I used to look for the strings when I met real people.
Fabulous show. Thank you.
