Montages have evolved man, nowadays quality and editing does matter and of course so does decent gameplay. However the sad thing is many montages recently have been over-done, too many effects and so on which ruins them.

But when an editor finds the right music and editing that goes with the music, then the montage turns out to be awesome. :)
