He's actually really good friends with Adam Sandler and has cameos in a bunch of his movies! "I now pronounce you chuck and larry" and "just go with it" and a few others he hasn't been credited for. Just like with most Sandler movies, he keeps his friends close, as does Kevin James. I actually love that.
Omfg I watched this movie at least 10 times, and never once did I notice that this is Dave Matthews, not only can he sing... But he can play a racist, sexist, redneck without anyone knowing, HE. IS. GOD
In another scene of this movie, Sandler uses some kind of scope to see Dave's personality, in there it says he likes Lethal weapon 1, 2 and 3. so that's probably why :)
