well to tell you the truth, i experimented with scripts. in other words i did this: I accepted the job from Lukash the clear the village, and when i go on a ledge of concrete behind the village, the controller manipulation gets me, so if you accept to that mission, it spawns a controller in the village i guess

Yeah, like it`s easy to hit bloodsucker in head while he is in invisible mode... Snorks are easy compared to them, they often ambush in pairs, but with a good shot in head they`re dead. Besides it`s quite easy to avoid theyr attacks.

Yes :) Then you first have to ask them to switch off invisible mode (threaten him with Punkbuster).

In CS Bloodsuckers are really frightening.

Usually, when snorks are attacking me, I'm either too heavy loaded to avoid their attacks or I'm just in a building with no room to avoid or my weapon is broken. That's why I don't like them.

@Granjew Dude if you are too heavy just "economize" your gear, take only two primary weapons and one secondary with about 300 ammo for each a fuckload of stamina artifacts... At least that's what I do, a boomstick and a CQB akm.

Controllers bassicially are quite weak, since they can attack only with that long ranged- psiho attack and once you get close to him, you can do anything you want. Strongest monsters are bloodsuckers in my opinion, since they usually don`t go down with a single magazin.

I've once been using single-shot mode for a long time, and if you hit his head a few times the Bloodsucker will die quickly enough too. But yes, I agree, they are quite strong. But Snorks are so too. I think I hate Snorks more than Bloodsuckers :)

I found that controller just yesterday. I was making my way to the merc camp to get some improved gun, when suddenly my screen started to move and I heard strange voices. At first I searched for a poltergeist, like what happens to you in lab x18 with the red screen, but I found later on google that it was a controller. he was in abuilding, and he never pulled me, just mindwashed me and walked to me. Easy to kill, but he looked kind of sad, and his inventory picture was different.

I never ran into one of these in the wilderness. Not even on Clear Sky. On Clear Sky I actually went controller hunting but never found one (other than that weak on during the main campaign). I really wanted to run into another mature controller, the ones who mindfuck the shit outta you but couldnt find any.

the whole worlds been completely improved, everything looks nicer, there worlds basically 50/50 with new and old areas.

The Factions have been improved and you can join one and help them take over other areas to make their factions stronger.

You can upgrade your weapons, like reduce their weight, increase their ammo cap, you can basically turn a regular gun into a sniper.

Only downside is that if you try and play with the graphics set to high the game crashes alot.

Okay, that with crashing is something not unexpected. But the weapon system sounds nice. What about aiming? Has this been improved? In SoC the shots where somewhere just randomly, one could never be sure what one would hit.

In CS, the shots are still quite random, but if you upgrade your gun a lot, it's a ton better.

I threw Clear Sky away, I was so sick of bugs and not being able to do somo main missions. And it is not a hardware problem (my pc is brand new) and all my drivers are up to date, even the game is updated, but with every new patch I discover a new bug preventing me from playing. So I have uninstalled it, now I'm at peace with myself.

what i strongly recommend is a enhanced weapon damage mod, because in shoc it's mutch to low.

with enhanced weapon damage these suckers are nor problem at all. no five shots in the head and he's dead meat!

In original game, controller doesn't do any superior damage and you could just run towads him to make him defenceless (in original game controller is bark more than he bite, it's scary, but doesn't attack when you near, and even if you are in his perfect range, you still easily can kill him

In mods like OL 2.1 (which I'm playing) controller makes me shit my SEVA suit. Even when I completed a whole game and started freeplaying I'm still kinda afraid to meet him (not to kill him)

I used to stay at the weight limit ;) Yes, the sniper is heavy, I didn't use it anymore later in the game because if its weight (and because you find ammo very seldomly). It was no cheat.
