I really liked the song until the end where you sang "Smile, smile, smile, smile..." with a forced tune. Maybe that's the effect you are going for, because certain people hate to smile and you wish to make them to--but it didn't make me smile at the end, not that I hate to smile

The forced smile was exactly the efect Terra was aiming for. The lyrics talk about the strange, forced smile of the Billboard Girl and the smiles - false or otherwise of the people around her. Yet she can't find it in herself to smile and bring herself out of whatever dark mood she is in. Hence that jarring end to the song.
