Wilson did not force himself into Genesis,Mike&Tony picked him,and for a good reason.Watch some of the live Genesis vids,he does a great job,though he does not have Phil's range,I think it sounds great.Too bad it didn't catch on,a break from PC was nice.CAS is a great album,dark,like it was in the 70s.I've been a die hard fan since '72 or so,seen them 5 times,I was looking foward to a show with Ray,In a very good venue,3rd row center,but it was cancled.Lack of ticket sales,too bad you morons.

Quite nice. He had probably his life's greatest adventure being 3rd lead singer of Genesis and he's the part of the legend. He failed because there's only one Phil Collins, just that. CAS was a decent album and gave me one song I love that is Shipwrecked. Respect for Mr. Wilson.

Yes Wilson is an excellent night-club cabaret artiste.

Kept Genesis from moving forward? To what, this shit? That's why they sold so many albums with him? Genesis was fine the way they were, and they're back the way they should be. If it isn't broke then don't fix it. I respect people who prefer the Peter Gabriel era for the progressive rock and music style better, but either lineup with either of those singers was legitimate. As much i love Collins, Ray is much better singer. Not mention he's more charismatic and has even greater sense of humor. I saw his concert last week and it was really great that i can hear some Genesis songs live. Ray is a legitimate member of the band and if he wants to play Genesis songs it's fantastic. After all did you ever hear Gabriel sing Genesis songs ? Since 1997 to 2007 you can heared it only on Steve Hackett and Ray Wilson concerts. And it was great performances.

Ray cant stop playing Genesis stuff though, he is the proverbial whore!He knows its the only way to score gigs because he is very low in talent. He does the same with Stiltskin, its the equivalent to a session musician who keeps reminding people which bands hes has played for in order to score gigs. HARD HELMET ANYONE!.
