I think I should go and buy Martin movers next time and tour with them,, as they tell me to carry an extra 2k usd of parts on hand per light.. been there too.. the difference here, was this unit saw 2000hrs of action before she had a display ic go bad and screw up the reset function... They did supply free parts and air travel... Do ya think the Swedes would oblige??
It won't I resell these units. it was a video showing the manufacture what it was doing, I know have all the pc bords in my inventory , so repairs are within 20 minutes. Let me know what you paid for a 575
I sometimes have the same problem with an old Showtec moving head. In most cases it works again when i switch it off for about 10 minutes an then switch it on again. Is this allways happening when you use the moving head or only sometimes?
FYI... Martin has an assembly operation in China,, just keepin up with the times..

the problem probubly is is that the circut board is fried or a cable has melted
in half inside it somewere. you will have to satter the cable inside it
if you want it to work again

Starts Normally, LCD control working... motors working... lamp starts...
Problem: Approxamitely 1:24 into operation and LCD dies, LED Indicators inside die, motors freeze... lamp continues to work in frozen position?

The problem was an ic chip on the dmx rec board, They sent me all new electronics, it fixed the problem, I posted this so they could see it 's faults
