  • Well done to the police for clearing out those scum bags.

  • @SIGN666 What would that accomplish? Even if that happened what would happen next? I would love to know your plan.

  • This happened in the U.S. in 2008 and only got 16,621 views which the main stream media refuesd to cover much of it, the protest in egypt happened 2/3 months ago and has over million views which citizens were also having a peacful demostration but the mainstream media blow it up to an extent where the it became an international phonomenon. can you see the problem here, the goverment goes overseas to fix the same problem that they have at home.

  • By that logic, it must have also taken you seven months to respond to a comment to your post.

  • Put your body in overdrive!

  • When you're confronted by riot police:

    Don't yell and scream.

    Don't run.

Don't throw anything at the police.

Just stay calm and stand your ground, and keep the camera rolling.

  • @wickedpissa25 Thank you. THANK YOU!!! I was beginning to believe there wasn't one person on all of Youtube who had any common sense to themselves!

  • war on the poor... lol wow now i've heard it all

  • i hate protestors so much

  • @metalfuk1 stop protesting about it!

  • @metalfuk1 it must indeed suck to know deep inside that everything you and everyone you know stand for, think, and do is tainted in some way by being antithetical to the advancement of humanity. But you could turn that negative energy around into improving your sad little self, at least hypothetically. Or perhaps you are stuck for the rest of your life that way. I cease to care.

  • @VvAnarchangelvV I posted that seven months ago...it took you seven months to look up all those big incorrectly used words, im afraid my good sir you are the one who is sad.

  • this is the goverment we hav to except...shame

  • @pomm100 so much for a democracy... your average neighbor policeman is not who you think he is.

  • There is alot of yelling.

  • hippies.

  • @wowisuckatmath Trust me, sucking at math is the least of your worries, bigot

  • looks like liberal freedom fighters not alex jones conservitives....

  • If the girl KNEW they were going to throw tear gas, why the fuck did she stay?

  • kill or be killed

  • you guys honestly dont get it, thoes soldiers are fighting for what they believe is right, they where never forced to fight

the peace keepers have actually saved lives so stop your bitching you fucking hippies

  • mis or uneducated

  • im sorry but i have to say that is the worst logic i've ever heard. read up on psychology, sociology, human behavior and how it's influenced and changed. then start talking.

  • Comment removed

  • idiots

  • do people really read those big comments??

  • MN dropped the ball during this convention. Denver had many many more people and had 1/10th the incidents. I understand it got violent at times but most often if the police respect the people the people respect the police and violence dosent break out.

  • Just wondering if they'll be protesting the DNC for economic rights in 2010... :)

  • thanks for reporting but police will use force whether provoked or not. Search "Eye Of The Storm part 1 of 2" and watch both parts. Part 2 details how the media made it look like protesters "threw a bottle", which prompted the use of pepper spray, when it wasn't really the case. When the media labels one group "peaceful" and the other not this is just means of sowing discord amongst protesters.

  • wheather or not the the crowd had any intention of rioting is beside the matter, the matter -if i may remind you, fanofCOH, is that tear gas was unlawfully administerd to a peaceful crowd. that is like arresting a man for murder when he was a little angry at another person. People like you are the trademark of the festering and willful nievity in the world. testement from a side perspective. i amnot argeuing for their cause, im argueing the law.

  • ... and making a whole heap of spelling mistakes along the way XD.

    Well put though!

  • tear gas is one thing, murder is another. At the time, tear gas was the only peaceful way to keep the peace. The crowd itself was not going to calm down, despite being labeled a "peaceful" crowd. If the crowd was "peaceful" (as you say) they would have avoided any conflict by dispersing the group. The police had to do what they had to do. Spuddangar, people like YOU are the trademark of naiveness in the world.

  • i will only say that if naivety is what i have then i pray the world will get a little. and i apologize for the spelling errors in my last comment, i was very tired at the time. and a crowd doesnt have to be calm to be peaceful, at least not by law. i am not arguing for their cause, only for the law; and if an officer of the law cannot abide by it, then i will call them out on their mistakes...this was a mistake. the group didnt need dispersing, therefore the gas shouldnt have been administered.

  • They tried to CAUSE the riot.

  • the police show up for the what if scenario. you have no fucking idea how easy it is for a situation like that, regardless of how peaceful it may be, to turn downhill and become a full riot. they keep order and do a damned good job at it. if you cry because you a part of a potentially of even dangerous situation then you fail and i say now, its the "anarchists" who call medic first, they call the police for help, they are jokes

  • wheather or not the the crowd had any intention of rioting is beside the matter, the matter -if i may remind you, fanofCOH, is that tear gas was unlawfully administerd to a peaceful crowd. that is like arresting a man for murder when he was a little angry at another person. People like you are the trademark of the festering and willful nievity in the world. testement from a side perspective

  • Public rage for making change? Let's call it bullshit. It comes down to nothing more than a bunch of kids with too much time on their hands who can't hold down a job.

  • We are all up in arms about Iran but we are quick to forget this.

  • Welcome to Nazi America.

That will wake people up. It is ok to be scared, but don't let fear paralise you.

    Peace

  • Did any of the protestors bring gas mask?

  • DON'T TASE ME BRO!

  • I was down at the RNC as a troop activated by the state and I saw what happened during this march. It was peaceful until the anarchist in their little black outfits came into play and started the violence and the police reacted. How about you blame the trouble makers that caused the police reaction...the anarchist!

  • If it was just a few anarchists in "little black outfits" and they were completely surrounded by hundreds of cops - Why would they gas a whole crowd of innocent citizens? A little trigger happy I suppose??

  • Yea, ok. Those werent anarchists. Those were plain clothed officers. Their purpose is to pretend to be protesters and then "get violent" which gives the cops an out after they attack innocent protesters.

  • Hey yeah, and did you see the black helicopters man? Ronald Reagan and Elvis were also dressed up as protesters man! UFOs swooped in to spend 3.6 trillion dollars we do not have! Oh wait. That was Obama.

  • Marta, I was worried for you there. What reason did they have to fire, there was no sighn of violance in the crowd. Agree with you, it's not something that should ever happen to Americans, or anyone whatever their nationality.

  • go GNOOZE!!!!! keep doin what you're doin!!!!! it works

  • where was jimmy justice at this riot?

  • That wasn't necessary, but then again, we have no rights, the constitution has been made vague.

    I'm glad you're okay Marta :)

  • I would just like to say thanx to all those faithful and dedicated riot police. every year at the RNC there are riots for no reason except for the hatred of the right. all the left can do is raise hell do to the lack of an intellectual thought process. And then when action is takin after fair warning the play the victom and all the idiots dont take the time to stop and think for themselves so they agree. Go through what the police go through and maybe youll understand.Go ahead call me ignorant

  • You're ignorant. In 2004 at the RNC the police were caught red handed committing perjury and lying about many of the arrests they made. Video shot by IWitness Video exonerated hundreds of protesters that had been illegally arrested. In St. Paul the police started the violence first by pre-emptive raids on media, including IWitness Video in what was nothing more than an attempt to keep them from doing the same thing here.

  • There were more than 130 felony arrests made in St. Paul. They are now down to about 18. That should tell you a lot about who was really doing the violence.

  • tear gas is potentially deadly. with thousands of people, im not surprised if some people died do to allergic reactions or something of that nature.

  • No offence

, but i would seriously doubt the police could get away with that in our country (england) as im sure there would be a couple who would try ad ight through it. that was a peaceful protest wich i belive is right until violence is a must as thomas jefferon once said The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

  • ha ha stupid liberals!

  • haha stupid rednecks!

it's people like you that are destroying america good fucking job

  • I would say greed, and greed alone is destroying America. Almost everything can be backtracked to greed, rather it be money or power.

  • WOW; IM SCHOKED . THE PoLICE STARTED THE FIGHT

  • lol, DON'T TASE ME BRO

  • Great coverage! Thank you!

  • when people of all cultures unite the Elite get worried. when people learn that there is no color but green nations worry. anyone who preaches peace is gunned down. period end of story.

  • These people are so out of touch with reality. Look at reality, their protest accomplished nothing but to feed their own ideas. They did nothing for the poor. Why don't they volunteer instead of protest. Just goes to show their true intentions.

  • they're trying to raise awareness by this one protest, they DO volunteer for the poor, that's the whole point of their program...

  • mikeboosh... so you do not see allready who owns your country ? ... shit you're messed up... everyone of these pictures we see today has nothing to do with democracy. JUST PLAIN NOTHING !!!

liberty of movement and speech is officially dead today in the USA it seems.

  • fourth reich

  • "Please don't kill me"? "war on the poor"? "F--- you, you Nazi Bastard"? Some of these people are nuts. Democrat socialist programs have trapped the poor in poverty. They worsened the situation they claim to care about. Economic civil rights? They think they have a right to the product of someone else's labor. Although slavery was a hell of a lot more brutal, wasn't that the basic concept behind it? I'm sorry you were tear gassed. A few jerks is all it takes to ruin a peaceful protest.

  • why do policemen always break the peace when they are the ones who are meant to be keeping the peace?

    x

  • Always? You're being a bit dramatic. Last time I checked police put their lives on the line daily to protect people like you and me, and hte pay isn't that great.

  • i feel sorry for people like you.wake up you fuckin sheep.were they protecting people from a few thousand PEACEFULL protesters. This shit appens in england too.were all slaves, even the muppet police, they dont realise tho.

  • That's funny I know many police officers and most of them are nice guys even when they're on duty. It only takes a few assholes in a peaceful protest, to turn it into something else. Regardless if you call the police for help they will come, not because they have to it's because they want to. No one made them become officers, they just want to help people. I'm sorry you feel like a slave, but I don't. It's not because of ignorance either, I don't feel like a slave because when I don't think

  • something is right, I know I have the power to change it. Sometimes the highest form of patriotism is rebellion.

  • dude it aint the standerd i wanna become a policeman and protect the people that are doing this. i dont doubt alot are good people.

  • I don't know how many rotten comments you got for such independant journalistic work, you are far up there with Greg Palast and others.. more so because you did risk your well being to get the full picture.. but thats something I think I already saw within you.. I've been kind of absent but I love what I am seeing with your development since I last saw Gnoose..:) I'm sorry that your neutral possition has lead haters to think you were being parcial, when you are only bringing a whole picture.

  • You are a real hero

  • Amazing video -- thanks for covering this.

  • yes, they've got the big guns, so we should act out of fear? or love? which one, mahatma? live or give up?

  • anyone who goes into a protest knows the potential threats especially by law enforcement..there is no excuse for wearing rags around your face unless you dont want people to know who you are.. i heard lots of people cheering the tear gas which only..goes to show people were there to cause problems so stop wasting your time the people will never control what this country is going to do.. so stop putting your selves in situations like that..

  • Can't protest in USA anymore

  • Okay, I'm sorry if I offend anyone, but police are stupid for firing at a PEACEFUL protest.

  • sometimes they aren't as peaceful as depicted. but policemen who are at these protests tend to be more aggressive than they need to be - i've been smacked around at protests before.

  • honestly, if you were in there situation, you probably would too. I'm not saying them being more forceful than they need to be is right by any means.

But if you'd had to deal with that all day I think you'd be a little tired of it lol

  • So according to her, only poor people join the military?

Um, hate to tell all you people, I enlisted cause I WANTED to, not cause it was a last ditch effort and was the only job I could get.

    Bring on the haters :]

  • well an educated person knows that it's not true that only poor people enlist. but, there are definite social tendencies for people from economically and socially lower backgrounds to enlist rather than upper middle class folk.

keep up the good work, we support you no matter what kind of economic background you come from xx

  • I'd say something but I don't like being tear gassed. A sad state of affairs indeed. Seems like nothing has been learned from history. But then, education is not on the agenda.

  • cops suck

  • If our police, who pledge to up hold the constituion, will do that to us just imagine what blackwater will do when they are asked to "withhold peace". Blackwater is a huge problem we will face one day.

  • Good Job Girl, Your Chanel's Great and so are you. Keep it up ..........

  • It's nice to know that we live in a police state.

  • If they want a better life maybe they should work harder, go back to school, and find a better job. Seemed to work fairly well for me

  • No matter how hard you work or how much success you achieve you still have to live in the same country as the rest of us, a country where police happily use tear gas on a crowd of peaceful protesters. Should you ever have a reason to protest you will be treated the same way, whether you are well off or not. You may not agree with their cause, but every American is supposed to agree that they have the RIGHT to protest peacefully. Anyone that doesn't think so is no different than the Nazis were.

  • Fascism is alive and well in America! If you are not a fascist then supporting Obama or McCain is useless ( i guess that is why the majority does not vote).

Support Nader/Gonzalez for president and make it a three way race.

  • Another reporter wakes up to the reality of facist america. How about if each person arrives early and just gets punched in the face in advance? would that save time?

  • The supreme law of the land (the U.S. Constitution) Says we have the RIGHT to peaceable assembly. Since the police violated the supreme law of the land...will warrants be issued for their arrests? Looks to me like instead of worrying about the presidential races, perhaps we should focus on who are local prosecuting attorneys are. Thoughts anyone?

  • Quack, quack, Its also a Liberal thing to blame the Conservatives for parroting the talking points of talk show hosts and such... Well, Im not sure if you read the post right above you, but yours is a copy of that. By the way, I fully understand what the meanings are of these groups, I am having doubts that you do however.

  • You were not being melodramatic when you said, "That did not feel like being an American," folks it was a news story(Don't look at it as a protest for bigger governement)The issues at hand DON'T MATTERwhat if it was a protest (for or against) abortion.or against government housing HELLOthis is about BEING AN AMERICAN and PUNISHMENT for utilizing your freedom of speech. It is a sad day whenever the constitution is tossed into the toilet...

  • it is not the governments responsibility to provide housing for people.

  • You just completely missed the point of the video.

  • Tear gas sucks. I believe in the right to protest and I know the cops went too far. Conversely, if protesters are blocking my path of where I want to go and they don't get out of my way in a timely manner I call them "speed bumps"... and run 'em over... even if I believe in their cause.

  • Isn't that the Koch family from the "Red Tail" movie 1:48?

  • I cant believe she desecrated the American Flag by letting it touch the ground putting it under the fence! It made me sick! Read your flag etiquette next time and maybe try serving your county by doing SOMETHING rather then chanting. Anyone can yell on the street, do something more productive instead.

  • Seig Heil!

    Germany lost, fascism won.

    ENJOY :)

  • it didn't feel like....being an American.

    Bwahahahaha!!! Great stuff!!

  • Reysinhell you're an idiot. There, I am practicing my 1st amendment rights. If I lived in a socialist society, I'd probably be imprisoned for upsetting you.

  • It's amazing how we can all get along despite our differences, our race, our creeds, our backgrounds... when we unite behind a single cause.

Equally amazing how scared of us they become whenever it happens.

Just goes to show you where this country is and where we're headed... sad.

  • Socialism is already here people. It's already here. Those protestors were being civil and practicing the first amendment. Good for them! Those that mock them are the sissy's that play the game and don't have the balls to speak up.

  • Those people should've tried to throw some crap back. Those jack boots totally terrorized everyone there. Molotovs would've been nice. Ask the IRA. Those Brits really love that stuff.

  • Keep protesting. Every time you do, you show the rest of the world what idiots you are.

  • What are YOU doing to "TakeBackAmerica"?

Supporting Bush and his hoodlums won't do it.

  • Although I agree with your protest, and I respect you for doing that, I think it is a disgrace to put our nation's flag on the ground. This displays our lack of national pride and unity which is bringing our country down. I think more intelligent people need to be involved and in charge of these protests, I think they would get much farther. Respect our country, be intelligent, and get it together.

  • Respect our country? These people are trying to take back the country from the liars and war criminals who are destroying it! The ones who think the Constitution is just a "God damned piece of paper". Now THAT is disrespect. As things now stand the flag is held in contempt around the world. These people are trying to restore it. Take a bigger picture, it's not about reverencing religious icons.
  • STFU HIPPIE!

  • u dont have free anything if money decides you dont.Free speech,if you threaten anyone ,its a terrorist threat.

  • well put at the end Marta.

"That didn't feel like being an American."

No, I'm sure it didn't. We usually associate places like China to roll out the tanks and guns and gas in response to protesters. Didn't Saddam gas people?

  • you made your point in what looked like the park. don't impose your views by creating hazards for other citizens by blocking roads. if you do, expect to get tear gassed. sure you have your rights to protest and speak freely, but if you impede on others ability to function in their daily lives, then you've moved from freedom of speech to forcing your views onto others. what should be reported was when/if the police asked the crowd to move, that wud have been better journalism.

  • Don't impose your views on to others? The best way to accomplish this is to outlaw protesting altogether. But we are Americans so we can't outlaw protests! No, we'll just erect special places where you are allowed to express your views. Please ignore the fact that there are fences containing the protesters and preventing the intended audiences from having to be affected by the cries of the marchers. "Free speech" zones ensure your "right" to not have to hear the views of others.

  • if you do some research into 9/11 truth you will understand what is really going on and how free you really are in this country (not very). watch a video of Building 7 collapsing on 9/11. it is an obvious controlled demolition. Read "The New Pearl Harbor" by Davin Griffin. Our country has been taken over by murderers and they are willing to kill as many people as the have to in order to make huge profits. Good reporting, one of your best so far.

  • Freedom doesn't exist in a successful country as far as I see it. Freedom is a lie, sad as it is. I live in America. From the moment we are born, we're controlled by the law. 18 years of required education. Additional education to acquire a degree just to be hired by a decent employer. If you're less than middle class, you spend the rest of your life paying debts and struggling for some money to take a vacation.

  • 18 years of required education?

  • shout out to katie gumpertz

  • The crowd did not have a permit to protest where they were protesting and then failed to heed the instructions of the police to leave. Gee-whiz! I thought everyone knew that almost every city in the USA has ordinances that prevent unpermitted crowds from gathering. This crowd got what they deserved! As for the truly innocent caught in the crowd: Blame those protesters who were around you in that crowd. They brought this upon you!

  • "ordinances that prevent unpermitted crowds from gathering"

SIEG HEIL! SIEG HEIL! SIEG HEIL!

  • Great work! You did great. Another crucial piece of evidence that shows your government lied to you. The people of St. Paul do not have weapons of mass destruction.

  • Thanks for reporting this gnooze!

there is power in the independent media

and the brave independent reporters who show the real news are commended!!

    GOOD JOB - 5 stars! -

    Thanks!

  • Are you kidding, we don't have any rights when the government doesn't want us to have any.

  • The Poor People's March was on Tuesday September 2nd, NOT September 3rd as the title of this video suggests.

  • If you look at the statistics and data, you'll see that the recording date is set at Sept. 2nd. The Sept. 3rd in the title reflects the posting date. That does, however seem to be slightly misleading. I think I'll change it. :)

  • Thanks! Hey, where's the unedited footage of your reporter losing it the more trapped she and the camera guy got. That was really chilling. It's not in this version. I saw it way back when and forgot where.

  • I made this video a response to it :)

  • What agenda? Don't be ridiculous. On her regular show she makes fun of everyone. When she's out in the field like this, she's doing regular reporting. I don't think she even commented on anything while covering the DNC and RNC events - except getting gassed! Can you blame her? Sheesh!

  • No, my friend, I do not blame her. Yes, I've delighted in her evenhandedness, but she did not know what may have set this off. The cops may have been wrong or someone(s) in the crowd may have provoked it. We don't know and she didn't know. The ending broke my heart.

  • Tom Morello was there!

  • you should have seen the police kicking peoples asses in denver at DNC MUCH MUCH worse

this is not about party or presidental race it is about the rights of the people

  • That was something they said multiple times before this march. This has NOTHING to do with the party involved, but peoples rights, and no one seems to get that.

  • Well it's frightening to know that ghost of Chicago 1968 is still stalks the US. What ever happened to the right of free assembly? Well done Marta for sticking it out. More than some of the commentors would have done.

  • Hey Martha are you getting radical?

  • We could really use a police state people, just think about it...We put all the police in one state, build a big fence around it, then we could hunt for this fabled 'constitution'. (I think bigfoot has it stashed somewhere)

  • Doll, don't hang with manipulators whose agenda is much more insidious than that of the innocent followers.

  • If there's any doubt that the US is living in a policed state...Funny how we can condemn China's government for Tianemen Square, but actions such as these are perfectly tolerated within our society. We are a nation that's good at pointing fingers, but fail to recognize that evil often comes from within.

  • Reading the comments here makes me very afraid for America's future. Do you people actually want a police state? Aren't you concerned about your freedom? Oh, I see. You want the freedom to Obey. Right...

  • Wow. I can't believe they tear gased you guys. That's just wrong. In so many ways.

  • Who does that cunt think she is? Stuffing a flag under the fence! In the old days they used real bullets, so the gas seems like a non-lethal way to make people go home.

  • Great reporting Marta. We are very proud of you for actualy being there. Kudos to you.

  • thats so fucked up, shes to hott to hurt, hahaha

  • PEOPLE WAKE UP! Next time bring a civilian flag, you are disrespecting yourself with that military flag, you aren't a military force, you are civilians, a miliatary flag shows military force, civilian flag dimensions on my page^

  • You're kidding, right?

  • Correct me if im wrong but i at 7:00 it looks like a vial of tear gas goes off right under someone in a wheelchair .... This is sickening

  • I live in Minneapolis, and a few of my friends left before the tear gas came. They said it was completely fine and there was no reason why any tear gas was necessary. I think the tear gas was completely unncessary, and it outrages me that something of this nature occured just a few miles from my home.

  • To me, it seems the issue was less about tear gas, and with apologies to Marta, not even about warnings, but MOST about the way people were corralled into a deliberate stampede. People get HURT that way--falling down, having other people run over them and crush their limbs and heads.

The police, if then needed to break up a crowd didn't need to herd them violently along a dangerous maze, they needed to split them up into smaller groups and deal with those groups one at a time.

  • Typo above, sorry. I meant "if THEY needed to break up a crowd".

    --------------------

If there was no overt violence on the part of this particular crowd and they were panicked like this ON PURPOSE, it doesn't MATTER if they were violating a permit. They could have been dealt with peacefully in segments.

  • That's what going to a Republican Convention and speaking up for poor people's rights and asking for rights does; the rich people inside the convention don't care or want to hear anything about it or see it.

  • It's not that they are rich people. It's that they believe in violence.

Government is institutionalized violence so this sort of thing is no surprise, unfortunately. They threaten violence to you if you don't obey their arbitrary laws, if you don't pay taxes and now apparently if you dare to gather up on what's supposedly "public property".

The game is over. I no longer believe in government because I don't believe in violence.

  • Wow..... I would have never thought... gnooze on a very serious note. Yet, another wake up call and we're still sleelping... Rock on, Marta!

  • Nice job. The final statement was powerful. And, we are not in the America we new any more. This mess is evolviing into something out of our control (on the surface anyway).

  • I'll take a country full of hippies over obedient zombies any day.

  • F*CK THE POLICE

  • I second that!

  • ROFLMAO!

    Are you kidding me?!

Hey folks, when you march and there's cops dressed as ninja's with body armor, tazer's,

pepper spray, a club, and a gun, don't ya think you should be armed also.

Google (SKS 7.62) - Russian made model.

Ask yourself, why all those Jews and others,

got on those trains to the death camps?

    Are ya gettin' it folks?

Think it can't or isn't happening here?

That's my joke for the day. - Peace.

  • GOOD POINT!!!

  • motorola... , Thank you.

But protesters need to realize there are trained, armed men, many of which have seen combat, and view everyone as a potential enemy. Protesters should at least bring a knife or baseball bat. Nothing wrong with peaceable protesting wilst be armed.

Hey, you're in a crowd of many, and someone may harm you right? Why not have some protection?

    Take care.

  • do that and you'd be fuckin shot by the snipers on the roof

  • bob7608, Whatever do you mean?!

Snipers on roofs during a peaceful protest?!

    HA!

Police dressed in black, wearing World War 2

    German helmets?!

    HA!

What do you think America is dude?

    Nazi Germany?!

    Oh!

    Papers please...

  • you surprise me with your not American remark. It's not the first time the American state has massacred civillians.

  • Give the girl a break, she actually stuck it out. I for one give her mad props. If I knew they were going to tear gas the crowd I wouldn't have stayed. Why let them have their fun? The cops they are hiring now are sadistic assholes.

  • People with the masks are suspect.

Agents of the state or fed government.

  • Not necessarily.

  • everytime there is violence from the protesters it come from the one's that are masked. It has been proven multiple time that those masked people who start the violence are actually local police our fed agents. Why in thw world would some one want to hide there face when they are protesting.

  • Teargas?

  • I would wear a bandanna just in case they brought out the chemicals.

  • Gnooze can you un-spam xmattxsavagex somehow I hit spam by accident when I meant to +1 him.

  • Not all those who wear masks are agents provocateurs. Most are anarchists who wear masks to protect themselves from being identified, and as a sign of solidarity, akin to the wearing of the color black. Bandannas can also be soaked in vinegar or lime juice to lessen the effects of tear gas and other chemical weapons employed by the pigs. Just because a person isn't wearing a mask doesn't mean they're not a pig in sheep's clothing, either.

  • Excellent, albeit scary, reporting, Marta. I was really terrified for all of you while I was watching the raw footage vid you put up. they just shot the shit out of your rights with those canisters! thanks for showing us what the mainstream talking heads don't.
