PLD in a 1vs1 should not loose against anyone ... and btw, who says "Pld doesn't suck" is ridiculous, this Pld has a hell of an equip, ok, but you can say at the first sight he's a noob thanks to his armor. Full Koenig always sucked, period. He has mythic but he does vorpal blade instead of atonement, without changing equip to do it XD.

@Ifrid87 Your a moron. You can't change equip in PvP hence why he didn't use Atonement. Even if it was available to him he had no enm equip on and the only thing he landed was a SB the first time. Also the fact that he is a Drk using an A Hauberk would make VB more effective anyway with the -eva. As for the Koenig it does suck but looks more like they did this for fun all out defense vs all out offense. Btw I haven't played in 4 years so correct me if I'm wrong but thats a Hauticlaire not mythic

Both sucked ass, they were only running away from each other with no strategy. DRK didn't used weapon bash correctly I don't think he used it at all. he's gotta have poison 2 and bio 2 up at al times, and stun every cure pld tries to make AND voke him so he can't cure either.

PLD should've won just for the fact he can heal himself. He should have voked on the dread spikes .Most DD jobs buff up before a WS and THAT's where PLD should've either flahsed or use sentinel. AND Shield bash > drain...

Honestly, Macros are not required to play FFXI if your fast enough with your hands. They are only there for convenience reasons or if you need a gear swap that can't really be done fast enough by hand, for everything else, yeah. Not needed.

There is no "How fast the player is." The scroll only scrolls up and down so fast, then you have o manuallymove up ordown to choose stun. Its alot easier to use a Macro Stun, fact.

Never said it wasn't easier, I said it wasn't needed and I stand by that. And yes there IS "how fast a player is" with how fast they can use a Dpad. I do just fine with spell scrolling in all honesty, There are certain spells though that do better macroed like in your example Stun. Hell I myself have a repose macro for times when I really need Repose and dont have time to mess around. Otherwise I don't macro spells at all and that works for me

To each their own alright. If a player is more comfortable without macros more power to um, if their more comfortable WITH macros I don't have anything against that. And if they like a hybrid, thats fine too, But at the end of the day I stand by my opinion that macros aren't required. But I've never said they aren't useful to some degree. In any case your free to play your way, and are free to disagree with mine. However it's pointless to discuss this further, so I'll leave it at that.

yup. Whm 75 is one of my jobs, and i use my playstation controller to heal tons of times. i use macros but theres a lot of times when i go manuel, as my 75 rng, as my 75 drg as my 75 mnk etc etc. it's my playing style. In fact, when i ballista i use manual more than most anything. I completely agree, macros are not needed, 'sept for gear swap maybe lol. afterall thats about all i use 'em for.

the pld didnt engage for hella long after he disengaged. he probably should had used chivalry and use shield bash from the start so he might have a chance to use it again, it didnt last 5 min but it might had. also, my drk friend tried sleeping my pld friend, it didnt work too well. pld has 3 resist sleep plus he wears insomnia earring and cast barsleep, he didnt even have to use fealty. i dont see how subbing rdm would help his enfeeb skills much. BTW, what sword was that pld using?

My Aegis/Hauty would of held for another bash & wheres chivalry?! that extra 90+ MP from it could of saved him sometime in the end for another nasty bash which most likely would of done more dmg than wasting that TP on 214 vorpal blade & include that nice stun effect. He didn't even stoneskin in the beginning. Btw Hercules Ring would of pwned during that fight if he doesnt have Defenders ring

ignorance, if you were a ranger or even has a job that used ranged attacks u should know that the ranged weapon's dmg is the weapon+ammo dmg, so for example: yoichinoyumi+kabura= 81+38=119.

thats more than apoc even while not using the CCP ammo which alone gives 60 dmg.

Checked again he didn't get stunned on the first flash, he just never cast it. He used something else. He never used sentinel at all.

The drk used some ability I don't recognize at around the 2 minute mark, but it missed. That'll identify the sub if anyone can recognize it.

It's how Provoke looks during Ballista/Berner, it stops self target abilities and locks their target onto you for a while.

The drk I have no idea, most likely rdm because he casts VERY quickly, too fast to be just homam legs.

The paladin has chivalry, but he never used it. I wondered that myself. Rampart was saved for the end, there's a 1 damage drain II right before the end. I can see how he got stunned at the first flash, but why he didn't cast it again I don't know.

And yes, he didn't flash the drk buffed up ws, he tried to do something and got stun shortly afterwards but that was after the ws. He also didnt seem to shield block as much as i expected from the aegis, but i just missed them.
