CFR is an interest group but there are dozens of other interests groups with competing interest. Politicians compete for the support of these interest groups in order to get elected. This is the sad truth of modern politics. However there is no interest group so powerful that a candidate can win only with their support alone...
...this creates a conflict of interest and competition. So in that sense a politician is influenced by multiple interest groups, not just one. So from my view it is next to impossible for someone to be a puppet controlled only by the CFR and have any hope of getting elected. There are other powers at work which creates the conflict of interest resulting in the incompetence that is the modern day politician...

Our soldiers have extended their tours and our military is really pushed to the max with this surge. Ron Paul is the only Republican conservative against the war so its no surprise that in a poll Ron Paul received more votes from our military than other candidates and also stats showed that Ron received more campaign money from our soldiers than any other candidates.
I have listened to so many soldiers speak out against the war in Iraq. They say that the objectives are not clear and that the local people don't even want them there. The majority of (ground) soldiers want to get the hell out and come home. Don't believe the lies people. Tell whoever supports the war to enlist as an infantry soldier in the army. The only way to support our soldiers is to bring them home immediately.
And ive heard many soldiers say just the opposite buddy. If you and I were to go to Iraq and visit the troops, for every soldier you find against the War ill bet I can find at least 5 who just want to be allowed to do their job so they can get it done and come home. You and I both want the troops home buddy, the only difference is I dont want to yank them out while they are still ready and willing to do what they enlisted to do.

I believe that protesters, who burn flags, burn effigies of soldiers, hold up signs saying "Fuck The Troops" or "Fuck George Bush" or whatever have absolutely every right to do so. And anyone trying to infringe that is breaking the constitution in half and should have that pointed out.

If we lost the war then how come the Iraqi people are fighting Al Qaeda themsleves, how come every single statistic shows that deaths have decreased since the Surge began, how come we keep hearing from Iraqis who are proud of their country and want it to suceed. Very well said Seekster, I personaly dont like the war either. But who should ever actually "like" war. But just because I don't like the war doesn't mean I don't support the cause. Thats why i'll be joing the Airforce come Sept. and seeking a combat position so I can do the best I can to help end it as fast as possible THE RIGHT WAY.

Then take of those conspiracy nut glasses and look at the world with your own eyes rather than looking at it the way someone else tells you to. CFR is an interest group but there are dozens of other interests groups with competing interest. Politicians compete for the support of these interest groups in order to get elected. This is the sad truth of modern politics. However there is no interest group so powerful that a candidate can win only with their support alone...

...this creates a conflict of interest and competition. So in that sense a politician is influenced by multiple interest groups, not just one. So from my view it is next to impossible for someone to be a puppet controlled only by the CFR and have any hope of getting elected. There are other powers at work which creates the conflict of interest resulting in the incompetence that is the modern day politician...

Shift in policy, yeah there was no shift in policy from Carter (Worst President since 1940s) to Reagan (Best President since 1940s). Thats right Bush to Clinton to Bush, they all had the exact same policies didnt they. (This is sarcasm btw). I dont trust the CFR and I sure as hell dont trust Clinton's mentor but its a huge stretch to believe that the CFR can control candidates, especially since they have to contend with other powerful interest groups.

Even so im not a big fan of the CFR but Fred really has displayed beliefs that run counter to some of that organizations stated goals. Most notably his absolute stance against amnesty in any form. I am much more interested in what he supports than what groups he belongs to.

Im not entirely sure what you just tried to say but I have a pretty good idea. First off, I dont by this NWO crap. Yes the CFR is not my favorite organization, yes there are a few people in that organization who sound like they think it would be nice to have an NAU, but to call a plot with almost zero chance of succeeding a NWO is insane. Furthermore you have failed to provide me with anything that would make me think Thompson were a puppet of the CFR.

Our soldiers have extended their tours and our military is really pushed to the max with this surge. Ron Paul is the only Republican conservative against the war so its no surprise that in a poll Ron Paul received more votes from our military than other candidates and also stats showed that Ron received more campaign money from our soldiers than any other candidates.

I have listened to so many soldiers speak out against the war in Iraq. They say that the objectives are not clear and that the local people don't even want them there. The majority of (ground) soldiers want to get the hell out and come home. Don't believe the lies people. Tell whoever supports the war to enlist as an infantry soldier in the army. The only way to support our soldiers is to bring them home immediately.

And ive heard many soldiers say just the opposite buddy. If you and I were to go to Iraq and visit the troops, for every soldier you find against the War ill bet I can find at least 5 who just want to be allowed to do their job so they can get it done and come home. You and I both want the troops home buddy, the only difference is I dont want to yank them out while they are still ready and willing to do what they enlisted to do.

In fact im surprised you havnt done so all ready. Considering how poorly Paul's campaign is doing I would expect his supporters would be spamming such a message all over the place. You havnt done that and I for one doubt that such information exists or comes from a credible and unbiased source.

I'm not crazy, just watched over several 1000's of movies, and looked for answers that back up this guys story, I haven't found one.

Ive watched them and yes they are hatefilled, most notably against faith-based groups. They put forward ridiculous theories that a novice with 2 hours on his hands could disprove with relative ease. As long as mankind exists there will always be conflict, does that mean that we shouldnt bother trying to live in peace? Of course not, in the same way it doesnt make since to simply throw are hands in the air and leave terrorists alone since there will always be terrorists. Also the War on Terror is almost exclusively focused on Islamic Facist terrorist groups such as Al Qaeda and Hamas.
