I feel so bad for Bloom--he knows he is at the end of a great and rich life and he still loves it so much, you can see him lamenting his impending future all over his face. But that is poetry.
@hanshotfirst1138 Thumbs up to your comment. YouTube does need more Harold Bloom videos. I could listen to him talk about literature all day. It was because of Bloom that I decided to study Literature at university for four years. Thank you Harold Bloom. (We know he won't be spending any time on the net!)
Also, I just wanted to ask you if it is possible for you to upload the 2nd part of this video? I watched every part but I noticed that the video in between the first and third videos is missing? It was unfortunate, because I was really getting into what he was saying at the end of the first video. Thanks again for the uploads. =)
His has the jaded, lugubrious countenance of a mafia-rolled poker player who just bubbled-out of a marathon high-stakes game.

When bloom dies, literature will have been thought about in the right way for the last time.

I have sat and talked with Bloom Brontosaurus sitting in that same chair, in that huge house in New Haven.
Sweet, fortunate days of Mays past.

@MegaGum1 You're very fortunate. I should be content to listen from an adjacent room.

Is this interviewer one of the humanoids that Bloom is alluding to?
