She is the only serial killer I actually have empathy for. Her life was fucked up but not only that but having to prosistute her body because no one would hire her no one gave her a clean break and that goes all the way back to her childhood. @midnightwallflower She killed her johns. Her first victim was a convicted rapist and she claimed he tried to rape her. As for the rest, she was mainly killing them to rob them. I have my own doubts about the death penalty, but at least those it is inflicted on get a trial.

I also saw the documentary about Aileen Wuornos, and i can understand why she ended up the way she did. Supercoolguy4000, there's a BIG difference between Eileen Wournos and Ted Bundy. Bundy killed innocent people. Wournos, for the most part, killed a bunch of sick male fcks who probably deserved to die anyway. She DID kill one innocent man, that old guy. And guess what? AFTER she killed him, that's when plenty of women decided she should be punished. But only because of the one innocent guy.

This was a very good movie. The director kept switching back and forth from her being a "saint" (sort of) and evil. It's up to the audiance to decide what to take away. It didn't force feed you to like her or hate her.
Although I read that her RL story was not the way the movie showed it.

It's obvious she had a moment of mental clarity, coming back to reality from her schizophrenic state, when she confessed that. That is one of the few interviews near the end of her death that her schizophrenic state isn't blatantly obvious. Johnboy's right she was trying to cleanse her soul. Watch the doc.

You can talk about breaking points all you want, but the fact is, like johnboy said, multiple lives were destroyed by her. Answer me this, how many of those situations were truly "kill or be killed" moments? Would you really take her word for it and nothing else? Convince yourself that ALL those people were out to get her?
You see, pscyhopaths are funny like that: they like to feign emotion to get people to their side, and it's scary how many people are gullible to fall for it.

Like I said...if you've never been in that situation...you don't understand...and can't/won't until you face it personally. It's not that all those people were out to get her..it's that she had lost the ability to distinguish the difference. And there are many ways to be killed. Not everyone physically dies when they are being killed. I don't think she was a psychopath, I think she...like I said before...hit her breaking point. @johnboy916 I disagree in a way. Cause first of all you don't have much say when your an actress on a film you are starring in. And second of all I have seen that it was a low budget movie and nothing was really put into it, also I believe that the film was trying to show the "romantic" part of it more between the two women that's why the made it look all dramatic at the end. I do agree on the killing part though. :)

How drugged up she was, how much they had fucked with her mind before the interviw, and if none of those - simply making sense of mind. She was pretty much forced into prostitution (if not, drug-dealing or otherwise destructive forms of survival), and if I had been raped several times, had a child at 14 by my grandfathers friend, another adult in my life whom I should've been able to trust, I would probably have gone insane as well.
