@OptimusPrimeSG I know right? Way too many versions of Getter out there. I personally don't follow the series a whole lot, but its difficult to follow all the different versions.

@skoolsuxbigtime Yes, it is insane and absolutely senseless. The fact there are too many variants just devalues the figure and makes it unattractive even for the hardcore collectors.I stopped collecting variants for Shin Getter after it went beyond 5.

@Centella85 I use the oil that is used on the hinges of doors. Just a thin layer will do to help prevent rusting. =)

hey what do you mean by oil them cuz i got some aoshima getters and some of the weapon happen to be diecast and nice review btw

@la22ie I mean applying a thin layer of WD40 on the handle of the weapons because some of them then to rust if the climate is humid at where you are staying. The handles of my Devil Wing Getter's weapon rusted though i kept them dry and placed in an enclosed cabinet.

I only have the Revoltech version which IMO is a fine purchase of it's own. I want to get this figure but I'm kinda let down on the articulation and the semi-horrid elbow joints on this figure, I'm an articulation person and when it comes to gokins like these, I'll instead dig on Bandai's Super Robot Chogokin figures. This figure may look solid and has lots of shelf presence but if articulation is minimum, I bet it will display on shelf just standing there doing nothing it does in the OVAs.

@mrr32m Congrats for finding them! Get them quick before they are gone again. =) I have all the existing SOC Getters and quite a number of the Aoshima Getters, though not all of them. There's just too many repaints and it got too irritating at some point in time that I decided enough is enough. You can check out my flickr for pictures of some of the toys I have.
