There should be more attention paid to this finding in the media. I suffered from anorexia nervosa for nearly 30 years and it had nothing to do with wanting to look good. I isolated myself much of the time! Unfortunately the media portrayal of anorexia is one of vanity, fashion etc. I can certainly identify with the traits described - the obsession with detail and rigid thinking. I have always excelled at maths and music and feel comfortable only when my life is predictable and controlled.
