dumb. Of course you see "star" and "pentagon", you are using only 5 frames of animation, and off axis image. Three things affect what we "see" in this kind of animation: 1: number of frames. 2: how fast the frames are run. 3: perceived perspective. If you had a higher number of frames, and spun them faster, you would "see" fractal patterns. You will get that "effect" spinning a picture of ANYTHING. Try it... spin your high school graduation photo. Oh, wait... maybe you didn't graduate...
