Great playing, I like this song. Reminds me a little of Shadows Fall. Have you ever played in or around Houston, or plan on coming this way. there is a cool place north of Houston called the 19th hole. @dtlaiho If you were to play on an 8-string with the exact same rig set-up (except the guitar, of course), I reckon it would sound a lot like Meshuggah. It's hard to replicate it properly, since Meshuggah's sound is comprised of a very tight combination of low guitars and relatively high bassguitar with a lot of overdrive/distortion (not too sure what it is).
