I don't know why he didn't mention this but this swap only works on the slim. NOT THE FAT. You need to do 3 swaps when the original slows down and when burned slows down and finally when the ps1 logo goes away. Resident evil works on the slim but not so certain for fat. I could not get it to work. Also if your game does not boot (ex: Crash Team Racing) Use a gameshark (Yes, you can use a BURNED one) and boot it from there. Hope this WAS helpful.

i have a problem, im using TDK CD-R's and when i burn it to disc the games will play no problem, but the screen is a little fluttery/shakey once the playstation logos go anyone know how to help me PLEASE!!!

I downloaded Crash Team Racing And i have a modded ps2...i burn the game correctly and i saw that the cd was ok but when i put it to ps2 the logo screen won't go it will just stuck do u think that it may be a bad ISO??

note: if ur ps2 is made in europe and u try this! u need a original game pal ver ps1 to swap like this vid if try to swap a game like ps1 game ntsc ver the screen not correct! if u try to swap like this!! ps1 ver pal/ntc only! pal to pal is fine ntsc to ntsc is fine but pal to ntsc worst ntsc to pal worst! has a problem to play! but its work! xD!

Thank you, but I need your opinion on something. You said that a ps1 has to be moded to play burnt games. My cousin would burn games for his ps1 but I don't remember him doing the disk swap or covering the censors. About 5 years ago, he gave me that same ps1. Do you think it's been moded or what?

I had the problem with t he Black and White screen, and I know the cause, It's because the download links are in NTSC format, and NTSC games run in 60hz, unlike the PAL versons which run in 50hz :)

If you swaped an original PS1 game with the burned game and it works, will you have to swap again if your playing the next day or some other time OR the PS2 recognizes the burned one and you don't have to swap agian.

2. For playstation one games that have two disk, do I switch if it requires? or how do I end up playing the second part of the game if it has a second disk?
