  • i drank the oceans dry, i stopped the tide. embraced the riddle of regret

  • ezekial 37

  • omfg the intro gives me chills.. it's sounds so fucking sick liiiive..

  • AHH the great battle for whos to blame for dimes death personally i think that the only person that should be blamed is the fuck who pulled the trigger all the other bullshit should have been buried with him..life's to short to hold grudges they should have learned that the day after hes death but hey to each hes own RIP DIME and all the best wishes to phil and the great cd he just put out

  • love it love it LOVE IT

  • They capture the Spirit of Sabbath Love It!!!

  • seeing them next tuesday, can't fucking wait!

  • fucking great

  • that sounds like the song they open with is it

  • they opened with "crawling"

  • Phil Anselmo is pretty much resurrecting his career with Down, after Pantera, and after the death of one the best Heavy Metal Guitarists: Dimebag Darrell. I think Phil exceeded the Shadow of Dime and Pantera with the new Down Album III- Over the Under. Keep Rockin' Phil.

  • you're totally right man. I'm sick of all these people who say phil will always have blood on his hands, down will go very far and have already

  • In my opinion he never really was standing in the shadow of Dime. They were best friends...and by now we would see em on stage together again!

\m/ three suns and one star...watch over me

  • Hey Anselmo fan, obviously yuor sticking up for Phil so I'd analyze Dime and Phils Relationship more carefully. Dime was mad at Phil for doing heroin and being horrible onstage in concert. Dime was embarressed because of him. Pretty soon Phil said in Metal Hammer that Dime needed to be beaten severely. And that ticked off Vinnie PAul and Dime. Thus, that's why the Abbott brothers had a grudge towards Phil before Dime died.

    R.I.P Dime

  • Dude...I have more shows on DVD than you could imagine. And the VH1 special as well...the one you just quoted so well.

Sometimes Phil is talking without really saying anything ;-) but nobody is perfect. I am sure he regrets. More than all of us can imagine. Like Rite says: He has to life with that the rest of his life...and he knows that very well.

    \m/

  • dude, he regrets the fuck out of his soul, just listen to this song! and the interview about Dime (2007)

  • Thats what I said...of course he regrets it.

Maybe he was part of the problem...but it was not just he alone. Know what I mean?

  • of course I know man, he WAS part of it, but it wasn't him alone that caused so much trouble leading to the breakup. there's also a factor of all of them accepting too many side projects...

but Phil wants nothing more than to make it right with Vinnie... there's only 1 problem. it's called Rita. (the girlfriend of Dime) she'll never allow it because she's a stubborn bitch who WANTS phil to carry ALL blame!

  • Sure...I watched the VH1 special too man ;-)

Maybe she is not a bitch...she lost her first and only love. I would be pissed too.

You know...you always meet twice. Even this sad woman can't be pissed for the rest of her life.

We will see em on stage together again!

    No fuckin doubt!!!

    Trust me.

  • I sure hope so man... I surely do

  • Almost a promise man...almost!

In the end its up to them. Its like Phil said: Vin needs him as well... ;-)

Just keep watchin the older stuff and think positive! \m/

  • Most Regular People would say... It's hard!

but any Phil fan (PanterA fan) knows, DON'T FUCK WITH THIS!

'cause this is the mindset that's right!

  • xD guess thats true!

  • have you got MSN?

  • Nope.

But I got fuckin VISTA...and thats the reason for not-havin MSN. Does not work.

  • yeah it does, just run it as administrator ;)

  • hey seen down in lubbock tx 11-17-07 drove from dallas show of a lifetime man new album is gold comeon

  • Phil Anselmo is fuckin badass...saw then with heaven and hell and megadeth, im march 07

  • i saw them supporting heaven n hell on the australian leg best gig i've seen phil sounds totaly sick now

  • Reinventing was a commercial throwback album...he sounds as good as he did back in the days of far beyond driven/vulgar display of power....just obviously down, I seen em in detroit, was one of the best shows I been to, including slayer/pantera/white zombie/soulfly/hatebreed and many more...phil is a metal god

  • totally agree!! hes sounds like a beast now, some of my freinds after hearing the new down cd cant down even know its phil, hes come into his own with down! most talented vocalist in the last 20 years without a doubt, and he proves that now!!

  • the pit was fucking brutal in chicago during this song.

    Hail the KING

  • 13 steps to nowhere at the end

  • exactly what i think.

  • yea i was there.....was fuckin amazing

  • I was there too. Fucking wicked, but man, it got hot as shit in there, lol.

  • Quality

  • Yeah Phil's sounding strong. "Reinventing the Steel" strong. Ya know??

  • Yeah, he really is. I saw em in Chicago and it was prolly the best thing ive ever done .... honestly
