@ WERKLOOS - re: tire change, wreck happened in a practice lap for the time trials 3 days before the race, they drove 1/4 mile to their trailer, had a new tire put on, and qualified an hour later.. (we were a couple cars behind them)

the cages have to be examined by the series tech inspector before each race to make sure they are safe. so i imagine after something like this, youd check it out

@Euugor 500 miles there, 500 miles back, and no the race is not in stages, its 1000 miles strait but depending on the team they can switch drivers at checkpoints/pit stops. some people choose to race the whole 1000 miles, i think its called iron manning or something like that.

a short bump like that is very hard to judge with the wheelbase of a class 1. there's really no good way to take that other than slow. just gotta hope for the best and if it doesn't work out, you got five point harnesses

I think it was mostly shock set up because if it was set correctly the machine would not have pitched forward like that in the first place so it was 80/20 80% suspension 20% human error

so, what went wrong, bad shock setup, human error, or both, i think 30/70, he never turn the wheel to the left, look at the replay , look it again, what do you think.
