  • This song has been stuck in my head since we've sung it in church lol! And I love how the video is pictures of a pokemon! How much better can it get ? (:

  • The music of this version is very beautiful; love the arrangement of this classic.

  • this song was our confirmation song during retreat we sang over and over again. This is a popular song that was song in our missionary church over in Exeter, RI

  • @ Uberlogic and all the other haters...

The difference between religion and superstition is religion (like Yahweh +Christianity) is grounded in philosophy, in fields such as metaphysics and epistemology. Superstition (Baal, El, Zeus, etc) is not.

Example: Plato, without the O.T., came to the conclusion that there must be one God (the demiurge), the creator of the universe, possessor of all truth and virtue... Plato was not a Hebrew/ Christian, and he came to these conclusions independently

  • Who does this version?

  • @AlabamaSoldier Says in description XD

  • The singer is indeed Carolyn Arends.

  • Mythological creatures -- ARE NOT REAL Zues Allah Yahweh Ra Vishnu Baal El Mars ETC . . . . . . . ALL made up by man -- none are more "divinely inspired" than any of the other ones Just part of cultural tradition -- its similar to fashion or building styles
  • ummm... aren't Allah, Yahweh, Jehovah and "God" one and the same? just different names?

  • @MTAmagnificat

Go ask a Muslim what he/she believes about God from the Koran, A Christian what he/she believes about God from the Bible, and a Jew what he/she believes about God from the Torah...

then read the 3 books and consider the question again.

  • @Titus7of9 Well....reading the Bible includes reading the torah....and technically all of those names are used in the Bible and by Christians

  • Don't take this offensive but wht does Mew have to do anything thing with the song? I don't know what Mew does or whatever so could you please tell me? I love this song!

  • @Number1EcoGirl really what does mew got to do with this song

  • @Number1EcoGirl Hey I'm also AngelDragon198, but I had barely any songs to pick for Mew at the time. . . So ya. . . Does that answer it. . . Also I dont take offensive. . . I i understand it would be weird y Mew with a christian song XD

  • I enjoy this song, but it was improved immensely buy the Mew pics. :)

  • Thank you for posting this song, I have been looking all over for a copy of this song that sounded like how my church sings it.

  • i wish more people who call themselves Christians would actually act like it and show love and compassion in spite of people's faults.

  • Fantastic! Love the song & Mew pictures! But not the very end where that other song kicks in really loud.

I used to sing this song in church when I was a born again Christian. I still like many of the Christian songs, although I've gotten away from ALL religions...they're ALL manmade.

  • thanks

  • How are we supposed to recognize something as not man made? I guess you have to give up looking for a god.

  • @patloonytoon - If you read the history of religion, especially Christianity, you would see that man put together all the doctrine and rules of the church. Also, why do you think that religion and God are one and the same? I believe in God, even though there is no proof, but I do not adhere to any religion (man-made doctrine). By the way, no one has to look for God. He was never lost....LOL! Always remember....Beliefs are not facts.

  • @janeway0000- Thanks for the response, I would agree that the traditional ways to measure something that exists do not apply to God, yet there still are things that happen in life that are supernatural. The Bible is the rudder on the ship of Christianity and if you take a look at the Bible you will see that it is far more preserved than many other popular accepted ancient texts. You are correct that God does not to be found as he has always been near and wants you to acknowledge and love him.

  • One of my favorite songs,we sing this in church quite often.

    God Bless You!!!

  • I love this song! I hope that one day Christian unity can be restored!

That would be an awesome day. Whenever I hear this song, I always pray for our unity and love to show!!
