Will they save our world, or destroy it? That's the question Watchmen sort of asks. Now I know people have right to their own opinion if you didn't like it, that's cool, but some people have been calling it gay and a waste. Look, Watchmen is genius, just like the novel. Some people say "No hero to root for, no villian to root against" Hello, it makes you decide for yourself who was right!!!!! Was Adrian right by killing millions to save billions, or was he not? My tirade is over lol, great film

@TheCinemaReporter The ambigous end of the story is just brilliant, but honestly i dont like the movie, it lacks a lot of things the graphic novel have, the interpretations dont have that feeling one can see in the images and overall the story is too large and complex to adapted in one film, it dont have the time need to develop the events and personalities too deeply or at least credible.

I think it was cut from the theatrical version. Snyder was forced to cut 35min from the movie. I assume this came from Manhattan's backstory/Mars scene.

Snyder's director's cut will be released this summer though. And an even longer cut, feautring Black Freighter, comes out this fall/winter.

not exactly, only the dudes from the 40's and 50's. you have to understand that the dudes in the trailers are a representation of much more advanced 1985. with a guy like dr manhattan around, things would be seriously high tech.

Dr Manhatan shuld not have any reaction to comedian shooting the girl, he is omnipotent , and didn´t do anything about it, THATS A BIG PART OF THE STORY, and they change it i am geting a litle worry about the film

So he is trying to change it in the only way that he does not have absolute control over, and that might make everything even more profound.
