i dont get this at all. why would this even need to be prerecorded? she's just yelling things out during the dancing part. what would be the point. i don't believe it. it would be a waste of time to do that

@retoricalanswers Prerecording assures a perfect performance. Just look at her feet when she's tapping, it's plain as day that it's prerecorded. They don't have microphones under the stage, so if it was left up to her, the audience in the back wouldn't even be able to hear her.

And it's hard to sing and dance at the same time, even simply speaking lines you can hear how winded the dancer gets.

No its not, that's a waste of money. The dancing is hard, but the spoken parts are def not pre recorded.

only the spoken parts DURING THE SONGS are pre recorded because if you were dancing that much you would get winded really fast and would not be able to clearly say the speaking parts.

every other time the actors speak that ARENT during a song, it is live.

none of it is pre-recorded, they wouldn't be able to do it... at all.

They spend the better part of a year rehearsing this, they are trained, and physically fit enough to be able to do it without it taking a huge toll on them. If you pay attention during laura's "what about love" bit, she is somewhat out of breath.

Lip sync'ing it is unclassy? especially for broadway... so they wouldn't do it REGARDLESS.

I know they spend hours rehearsing, I am a Musical Theatre Major.. And of course they would be able to pre record it..Some just needs to be there watching with the computer to play it when the time comes... There are pre recorded voices in Wicked. And I never said Laura did it.. I know she didnt.. however if you listen to Baileys It sounds very recorded and doesnt fit at all.. And I think they turn her back on for the may I approach.. thats only how it sounds to me..

Well i think LBB did it best she was working it. But that just be because that was the MTV recording of the show. Then Bailey and then Becky. Haven looked like she was just lost. But I would also like to see a recording of LBB from and average show day she might not be so on point.
