Plus the 20lb+ block of cement or lead you gotta put in the tail to counter balance that boat anchor bolted up front

Not directly but i have seen a few guys online that have.  I am pretty sure that is was not good till he used a reduction drive.

you want power to weight and 4 stroke go 912.

Pat, I really do not think the VW with direct drive would stand a chance with either the above. With a re -drive i think it would help it more.

The video shows how well Rotax works - show me a soob powered Kitfox that will beat these two ? I think it would be hard to find one.
