I also thought mobile infantry is the only federal service option, but apparently this was not the case.

@Minillama100 I found the book to be an average read. It was mostly 'going through the emotions' and the first film definitely was more exciting. I'm usually a bigger fan of the books (such as Hornblower and Sharpe) but I stand behind ST 1 and 3.

I'm no expert on acting but I felt they did a pretty good job in 3. It was believeable, and the trench fighting scenes had real suspense. 3 also tended to the fact that 1 ignored most of the book (Verhoven admits he didn't even read the book!).
