  • Magical realism in film at its finest.

  • I still have to see this movie, i assume it is available with English subtitles? :)

  • @RogueAndroid Naturally, since it showed in US theaters to an audience of mostly English speakers. Can probably pick it up at Wal-Mart for $5-$10 with subs. Or download it. But it's well worth the $5 or $10. I've watched it three times so far. Would watch it more, but it's so depressing. Will watch it again with my girl cuz she hasn't seen it yet.

  • thumbs up if ur scared to eat grapes now <3

  • @217happybunny I'm only scared to eat my grapes when a fairy tells me not to fucking do it.

  • Even if they remade it to be in English..I think it would still be a beautiful movie.. But why would you want to change such a wonderful movie? When i watched it for the first time i forgot there were subtitles to me it sounded like they were speaking English it was that good...

  • 0:52 xD

  • To bring some comedy into this, it must be really hard for the guy at 0:50 to masturbate...

  • @xkennyPLx I just noticed that.. :D

  • Paleman is really scary ( the guy with eyes on his hands and he is naked and eats fairys)

  • this film was such a great piece of dark fantasy. i loved it.

  • oh fuck pale man i was so fucking scared she was retarded there in that scene

  • Oh, my God...the image at 0:52 makes up my worst nightmares.

It is a fantastic movie accompanied with a chilling soundtrack and the gruesome loss of childhood innocence while preserving the bravery of our female protagonist...

    love it. <3

  • @geyuan08 I second that... the white thing is fairly creepy O.o

  • cant sleep with out it

  • Perfect fantasy film.

  • when was this film made?

  • @animekisses11 Released in 2006.

  • I love guillermo's (sorry if that's not how you spell it) movies. I like the fact that the endings of his movie are not the cutesy everything ends so wonderfully like a lot of movies. They are grounded in reality (the endings where the kids die I mean, not child eating eyeless guys etc unless you're into that thing). Rambling, just wanted to say he is one of the best directors ever and this lullaby is awesome! Thanks for posting!!!

  • 0:21 = Smiley Faun

    0:31 = The Faun's WTF face

If I were Ofelia's older brother, I'd help her! :D

This is a great movie and

  • @Meta259 (cont'd) definitely one of my favorite movies of all time!

  • Pan is so...amazing..he was creepy,but..awesome at the same time.

  • That looks like a movie I would like

  • That is a very beautiful song where can I download it for Free

can I get it on Limewire does anyone know??

  • It seems scary...is it?

  • Thumb me up if u thinks the pale man's nostril is his eyes.

  • Does Pan Hold Ofelia in the movie? I mean its been a long time since I'v seen it

  • one of the best movies ever...same goes for this song :D

  • It was so sad when her mother died and she had no one left but the faun.

  • A few minutes earlier I've seen the movie and I've decided to watch it because of this song. I felt chills down my spine when I heard it. At first it felt sad but that's when I knew that this could be a good movie. And I say the spanish languege of this movie makes a perfect combination.

  • The Pale child eater reminds me of Gary Glitter

  • I was too young when I saw this. XD Great movie though :C

  • So heart wrenching. I love it.

  • its so beautiful.... so touching

  • I feel like I'm going to cry everytime I see hear this song and it makes me sad how she seeks comfort from the fawn :(

  • Oh yeah the pale guy is one of the creepiest things I've ever seen!

  • Ugh agreed >.> The Pale Child Eater....... Creepy as hell....

  • Ofilia! I love that name! This is the best movie of ALL time! Fantastic!

  • Ok this movie was GREAT my favorite of all time besides The Mist. I always cry to this song and to the end of the move. :( .

  • @Lilmon64 The mist is my favorite movie, I seriously cried for 30 mins at the end of it.

  • That movie was amazing! One of my favorites. Me and my friend did a cover of this song on two guitars. Check it out.

  • i love this movie. it is one of my faves but i always cry at the end tho :-(

  • Same! (;

  • I still love the part shown in 0.53!

  • i love this movie, its beautiful, powerful and one i can watch over and over. thank you for uploading this song!

  • Beautiful

    Thanks for the upload

  • One word.... Fantastic !

  • fantastic movie!

i loved all the fantasy characters they were amazing even thou the child eater scared the hell out of me !

  • whats the movie even about?

and wtf is pan looking evil?

    hes nice >=(

  • Loved this movie. Is there any good fairy tale movies you guys can recommend for me to watch like this?

  • Totally agree with this dude an english version would totally kill the movie man..this was an amazing touching movie and great sound track i love it

  • great movie!

    bravissimo Guillermo Del Toro!

  • omgee did you know the actor for the faun [[pan]]

is also the dude that playys the white thing that has the eyes in its hands

    and fauns name is pan

haha it took me forever to figure that out(:

    great vid

    love the actual viedo

  • Yeah! I noticed in the credits roll...but I also found out that he usually plays a lot of roles, where he has to wear this kind of make-up and strange stuff (whatever it's called), because he's a contortist, with a talent for moving with these appendices. Just check his list of films, you'll be amased!

  • the pale man?yeah he had a interview and he said how it was being both

  • i like the pale skinned child eater ((what you refer to as the "white thing that has the eyes in its hands")) I think he did an amazing job portraying both pan and pale face.

one of my fave movies =)

  • lol oops meant child eating pale man **fails**

  • absolutly lovely, i would like to see this in class too, it is not disturbing only to those who are chicken of a weird monster

  • actually it is very gory at parts. you know nothing

  • I think its more beautiful to watch it in spanish. [Since its original, I wouldn't want them to remake it. ={]

I was trying REALLY hard to persuade my Spanish teacher to let us watch this movie before Christmas vacation, but she said no because it would be disturbing to other students..

I say throw those pussies out in the hall to watch "HSM en espaniol" while we all watch the good movie! :/

  • lol you're so funny

  • @Ryokoholic xd

  • @Ryokoholic I totally agree with you; Spanish is a beautiful language, and it's nice watching a foreign film as beautiful as this one, in a language as beautiful as Spanish.

  • @Ryokoholic Disturbing my ass. It's a beautiful movie with meaning. And if having meaning is disturbing, then I am proud to announce that I am very much disturbed.

  • @Ryokoholic But thats the beauty of the modern education system !

train up the kids to be academic robots whos lives are solely based on grades and report cards! we wouldnt want them being exposed to any parts of the real world now do we?

  • I felt like helping the girl in the movie.

  • i saw the movie, and it was fucking awesome! i used to subtitles, i wish that they can make it in english and not just spanish.

  • In my opinion it's amazing in Spanish. It just wouldn't be the same if they made it in English... :/

  • it wouldn't be as powerful in English though....there were a few scenes that would lose all poigancy in English

  • Hecho por un Director genioso.. Que maravilla es la historia, direccion, y cinematografia.

  • "Pan's Labyrinth" Yes One of the greats movies

  • i just got finished watching it

Great movie and Im use to subtitles(i watch alot of anime lol)

    I love this lullaby

  • this and fewdio creep are my two new faves

  • God, I love this song, and when I saw the movie, I cried so much when that man killed Ofelia, she was just so hot. I like her, she played so well in the movie, Pan's Labyrinth. It's like the best movie in my soul, I love it so much, thank you so much I ADORE and LOVE this video. Ohhhhhhhh

  • I haven't watched this yet. Is it a good movie?

  • Yes it's wonderful. It's very creative and if you're one of those movie watchers that pay very close attention to little changes in the movie then I recommend it.

P.S It is in Spanish but you can put subtitles.

  • Okay. My grandmother wants to learn Spanish (haha), so she might pick something up, too.

Thopugh I doubt it much. :)

  • its very clever alot of it plays off of things that we feared as children

  • I did notice that. My grandma didn't see it yet.

  • If you ever see this and like it (I loved it, regardless of subtitles) I highly recommend "The Orphanage". It is by the same creator/director and has a compelling story and great cinematics. If you remember the end of "Pan's Labyrinth" then you will definitely see a theme (in a good way, I think that has to be the most creative endings to come out for ages.)

    5/5

  • i've heard about that movie. i wanted to go see it but i didnt know wen it came out

  • It's been out on DVD for a while. I just used Netflix to rent it but as long as your movie store isn't too small they should probably have a copy.

  • I'll see if I can find it. The subtitles didn't bug me, by the way. I'm good at reading.

  • your dead right lynn fair play just watched it tonight..

  • oh i saw 'the orphanage'. an incredibly sad movie with a suprising twist. great movie!

  • Iv seen this and i watched the orphanage not long ago,

Its freaked the hell out of me (espesh the old lady in it)

But the ending wasnt so scary and it was a nice story.

  • @LynnGryphon i watched that movie its................. disturbing but thats my opinion

  • @LynnGryphon ahhh i loved both of those movies (P. Labyrinth and The Orphanage). the pumpkin patch boy scared me so badly though ):

  • @Cougerfang This movie was outstanding. it was truely a piece of art and very intricate. it made me cry

  • @Cougerfang it is a great movie plus the end is a little sad but happy almost :'''')

  • @Cougerfang It is incredible. Haunting, powerful, moving, peaceful, tragic....masterpiece.
