For those who didn't like the film: a movie length feature cant possibly capture the complete corruption of the Rampart division, so its better to focus on a single character. Frankly I was surprised more of the on duty criminal conduct - like reselling seized evidence- wasn't presented. And for Harrelson's performance, I thought it conveyed nuances which weren't all Bad Lieutenant-type portrayals.

The movie's elements were well made, especially all the actors' performances. Harrelson's character showed more nuance than typical cop behavior and atual Rampart corruption. Reality is stranger than fiction
