  • let the morons believe their stupid stories. Pass the doobie and let's play COD4.

  • 'noah's arch'

is this some kind of divine space-time transporter ?

  • It says god covered all land with water if he did this then the ark would have floated so high up that all of the animals would have frozen and the few that didn't freeze "polar bears, penguins" would have not even been able to breath in oxygen at such a high elevation and ergo would have suffocated

  • Who said all the worlds animals were on the Arch ???? The flood was only in the area the giants where, so that they would die. So only the animals in the geographical location of the giants and Noah would be flooded. not the entire, world, then you can see that it is possible to hold to of every animal and people that where in the area.

  • How did he get the Moa's?

  • Through belief, sometimes we will ignore the obvious, But thankfully, I think you already have the answer to your question.

  • OMG! I can't believe people are actually getting into debate on the design of the ark and marine engineering! It's absolutely ludicrous! Some of you guys must just like typing or something! Do you have any idea how many individual animal specimens would have to be on this ark? The largest supertanker in the world today couldn't hold a fraction of them! They could not all be gathered in one place anyway. FFS! What abt food? Treat this mythical story for what it is. An eccentric myth! FFS! Enough!

  • @boc1953 - Awesome. Very true. Penguins, bacteria, ocean life. How did he do it? Can't!

  • QUESTION: Noah's Ark...Fact or Fiction?

    ANSWER: Fiction!

    End of....

  • @boc1953 Fact. : )

  • @JDrosa1982 If it's fact, it's just a shame Noah didn't wait for the unicorns. I don't think so...It's like many other bronze age stories....a myth.

  • @boc1953 Noahs arch has been found on Mount Ararat. Look up the video,

the flood in is area was 40 days and nights. Not very long and not world wide.

  • @JDrosa1982 Wow! One of the greatest archaeological discoveries of the 21st century and all it rates is a phony you tube video? Where are the front page headlines? Where are the international newsflashes? What a load of rubbish! Only a fantasist could believe it! I guess that must be you?

  • Jesus birth city, lineage, time of death {year], teachings, manner of death, resurrection, and even His reactions are well documented down to Roman arrest records. The players in His death sentence, where and how He would be buried is all documented. The odds of any one person fulfilling all the prophecy is impossible but it happened and I can prove it to your satisfaction.

  • @Yeshuafan1 - Wow, you are seriously taught errors. Outside of the Bible, there is no evidence of Jesus' existence besides a forged section of Josephus' book. Not one word that wasn't written until ages later. Take a theology class. And while you're at it. you're banned for being fo fuckin' off topic.

  • I'm sorry you have chosen a single author to post a conclusion about Jesus being foretold. I work with a Messianic Rabbi who has a doctorate in theology . I study in Hebrew and aramaic with a Jew who belives in Christ and I can assure you he doesn't consider prophecy related to Jesus a joke. Isaiah alone has astounding references to the coming Messiah and exactly how He would be killed.. If you are open minded I am confident I can blow what you've been told and read out of the water. . A deal?

  • TOP COMMENT You need a Bible so you can study the issue. I hope you don't believe Jesus was a myth. I could show you through scriptue He was who He said He was and He was foretold of his arrival 600 years before He came. At one time scientists thought the peoples and areas mentioned in the Bible were myths. Since that time many cities spoken of have been found as well as the Dead Sea Scrolls from Isaiah. The evidence is overwelming. All cultures have their own versions of the flood story.

  • @Yeshuafan1 - I do have a Bible and the Apocrypha. Jesus was NOT foretold. The Old testament scriptures that you say refer to Jesus are taken completely out of context. See Bart Ehrman's "Misquoting Jesus," a former Christian, present Theologian. Everything Christians say refer to Jesus are laughed at by Jews and non-Christians, because they actually don't.

  • First Steve you need a Bible so you can study the issue. I hope you don't believe Jesus was a myth. • @Yeshuafan1 - Perhaps all cultures have a flood account. I didn't say there wasn't a flood, and other earth-forming occurrences. The earth went through many changes. I dispute the story of Noah. Listen to video again. 2 of everything on the ark? Penguins, bacteria, unknown species? Brought to the Middle East/northern Africa? Besides, even if it were possible for this to happen, it's still a Myth by definition, for no one was there 1st hand to witness it.

  • @Yeshuafan1 - In regards to Jesus, which is off topic, but addressed in another video, there is no extra-biblical evidence for Jesus, besides the forgery in Josephus. I do have a Bible, and have studied it thoroughly (my college major).

Check out Bart Ehrman's books, "Forged" & "Misquoting Jesus." He too was a theologian and apologist like myself, but left the religion after studying theology.

Also, anything written after the fact is not Prophecy.

  • @CaffeinatedThinking All the nations came from Babylon. the Gilgamesh boat was in the shape of a square (not a seaworthy shape) A Korean company did a feasibility study on the shape of the Ark and the dimensions were very stable in rough waters. (coincidence? After all, God did give Noah the dimensions. So, which one was a retelling, Gilgamesh! Ever play 'Telephone with a group of people' that's what you have there. LOL the evidence is all around you all over the world. What tools did they not

  • A good book to read is "In The Beginning" by Dr. Walt Brown. He was the Physics professor for the Air Force Academy for many years before he retired from the Air Force. He used to believe in Evolution until he started investigating it. He has a very good scientific model for the flood. He shows where the water came from and the mechanism for getting the water off the continents and into the oceans where they are not. Jacques Cousteau said that there is enough water in the oceans to cover th

  • Gotta love the fact that people looking for the mythical noah's ark on mt. ararat think its still on the mountain without the knowledge of glacial movement. If the thing did in fact exist it would have been drug down the mountain to the base for all to easily find.

Also there were more than 2 of every animal, there were also 7 of some types of animal too.

The most ironic thing that flood believers have to believe is super evolution, if one is unsure what that is just look er up, quite funny.

  • @Feralus69 Many people have looked for the Ark and if they find it find, if not that's fine also. It doesn't matter one way or the other. I think it could have been dismantled to use the wood to build housing, but who knows, that was a long time. There were 2 of every kind except 7 of the clean animals so that once they got off the ark, they could make sacrifices to God. No evolution! Variation within the kind happens very quickly. Look at the dog for instance. Variation is a loss of infor

  • @AndyG792

"There were 2 of every kind except 7 of the clean animals so that once they got off the ark, they could make sacrifices to God."

There were also more than 2 "kinds" of birds as well, they don't sacrifice doves and such.

    "No evolution! "

    Look up super evolution.

"Variation within the kind happens very quickly."

Depends what you define a "kind" to be.

"Variation is a loss of infor"

No, it isn't, gene duplication adds to the genome among other mutations like neutral or beneficial

  • My problem with Noah is:

It rained for 40 days and 40 nights, the world was covered with water, 1 boat , 1 man , and all the animals, so obviously everything other than the fish were drowned right?

How the hell did 1 man repopulate the world?

    lol

  • @AtheismFTW1988 - Actually, I think his wife and couple of his kids were on board, but they were 100's of years old, so the legend tells...

  • @Invertecl Lol so in the case of Adam and Eve incest played its part in the story of Noah too.

    :p

  • @AtheismFTW1988 It wasn't incest at that time. that was the only way to populate the world. Their genetics was better than ours, as we see from biologists that our genetics keeps degrading generation to generation. It wasn't until later that God told Moses not to marry within the family anymore as had been practiced. That must have been when God decided that the genetics had degraded enough that it would be a problem. In the past many royal families only married within the family.

  • @AndyG792

Also look up the genetic bottle necking of the cheetah for which we know genetically that the population was reduced an extreme amount, now compare that with humans. We never bottle necked showing that we didnt descend from a small group of humans be it adam and eve or noah's family, it genetically didnt happen. This is just a small reason why the flood myth never happened not including the lack of a global flood layer, geographic distribution, populations that lived through it, etc

  • @AtheismFTW1988 yes, but it wasn't concidered incest at that time as I explained in another post.

  • @AndyG792 Yeah but science and the study of genes and dna can prove that we aren't all the spawn ofinterbreeding which occured only a several thousand years ago, :s

For one that short amount of time is not long enough to create different races i.e black , white etc.

  • @AndyG792

One more thing, the ark as described in the bible, coming from a carpenter by trade, would not have been able to float. The wood would have buckled because wood cannot sustain that big of a ship without metal strapping and supports that were not around at that time. It would have leaked insanely because the sheer displacement of water would put too much pressure on the pitch used to waterproof boats at that time. The ark would only work if it was made of mostly metal, that is a fact.

  • @Invertecl I say that because, someone had to bang someone lol

    Babies don't grow on tree's .

p.s, thanks for the friend add, accepted.

    PEACE

  • @AtheismFTW1988 There was Noah and his wife, his three sons and their wives for a total of eight.

  • @Invertecl there was Noah and his wife, his three sons and their wives for a total of eight. Noah himself lived to be 600. after the flood life spans started declining ... 400, then 200 and to present day people live to be as old as 120. the Hunza people, before coming in contact with modern man were living to be 165 and looking good. Once interaction with modern man, their life spans dropped and they decided to go back to no contact with us.

  • @AtheismFTW1988 Well, the Bible says that first, the 'Fountains of the Great Deep Broke Open' before it mentions the rain coming down. Scientists tell us even today there is still water under the rocks. Only two of each 'KIND' not species were aboard the ark. the variety of species come from the kinds, so there was a lot less variety. Yes, the rest drowned, as we can see from the fossils we find. a good guesstimate is that there were about 16,000 sheep to ox size animals and food on the ark

  • @Mormonkid15 - Yea, I'll have to check it out. I'm pretty well-versed on why the Bible is considered mythology, but I try not to fully explain on here WHY I believe Christianity and Judaism to be full of myth, legend and lies. I try to give a glimpse into what I do know, and help others dig, as well. I'm all for people learning to think for themselves, and research what they claim is important. Thanks for the comment and suggestion.

  • @CaffeinatedThinking "It's a myth, nothing more."

Actually, it's pretty amusing evidence against Christianity, because Jesus' genealogy in NT includes both Noah and Adam. So if one debates modern "Christians" who claim the flood and creation myths are intended to have moral messages rather than being historical you can really make them squirm with regards to the status of NT. What do you call a guy who's great grandfather was a myth anyway? =)

  • Let's not. Seriously. It sounds like a lot of not-having-fun-not-laying-on-the-beach to me.
