This lady has no clue about dialysys, considering is your kidneys fail and your don't receive dialysis you will die quickly without it. Dialysis is a life saving machine and I thank God we have it, because I would not be writing this right now without the last 20yrs existing from week to week on the machine. This video is extremely misleading. Patients are on dialysis because their kidneys are no longer functioning. This means that they are not able to eliminate toxins, excess water, and other substances, which can lead to death. There are 4 types of dialysis available: central venous catheter, fistula, graft, and peritoneal dialysis. Only fistula & graft require needles for access.
Why is this girl even on this program supposedly educating people on dialysis when she knows nothing about the process. She doesn't even know the terminology to use in explaining it. She may have quit her job, but she sure didn't understand it. I am a dialysis patient myself. I resent it being presented in this way.
I think the information was wonderful,I have been knowing Tim morro for years and he is good with what he does-Educating people.....So many people have been helped....But people fear doing something away from what is the norm....wake up people...people die from lack of knowledge.....

Transplants aren't cures. >5 years is considered ''long term'' and the immune supression often replaces one problem with another.
