Its strange but your song "I heard the bells on Christmas Day " gets me straight to the heart even when it is not Christmas.

@092bassman - I know where ur coming from; it's about an Old Testament passage. If u study that verse, it was WORSHIP of the tree that was condemned. The important thing here, I think, is the Message of His Birth, as Savior of the World, is getting out, at least once a year. Should we not remember the birthday of the King of Kings, our Savior? Look what He did 4 each & everyone of us. God BECAME FLESH! What an enigma, think about it!!! He deserves ur reverence, ur awe, ur humility.

i love casting crowns to death. they're doctrinally sound and meaningful. however...mark hall said he something about listening to the music without paying attention to it, "joy to the world" isn't a Christmas song, it's about Christ's second coming and his reign over the earth. it's ok mark.

I work at a Christian book store and I bought the cd there yesterday. While playing it in my car on the way home from work I almost had to pull over on the freeway because of the tears. That song (I heard the bells on Christmas Day) is so much more than touching. I was expecting the old version and was obviously more than pleasantly surprised. Also the Childrens Choir representing the bells is a brilliant move. For me this song passed at warp speed through my mind and went right to my heart!

I am the same way. I get out the decorations and decorate Friday as soon as Thanksgiving is over. I won't let any one listen to Christmas songs until then. That is because I listen to the Christmas music continually until Christmas day. I love Christmas music and would listen to it all year long. But, I want it to be special so I wait until the christmas season.

I notice that there will be a Christmas show coming to Tulsa soon. Will it solely be Christmas music during those performances or will it be a blend of both music from the Christmas album and other Casting Crowns favorites? - Any information would be most beneficial and I thank anyone who responds to my inquiry in advance. Looking forward to the Christmas Album, I should be one of the first ones to grab it (knock on wood). :)

I saw somewhere that Natalie Grant, Michael Engligh, Avalon, and PureNRG are going to be on the tour with them. It could just be Christmas music but with all those bands they might do some of their own. Are there that many Chrsitmas songs? :) Enjoy if you go. My parents and I are going 12/13 when their in Reading, PA. Hope this helped!
