  • can all F cats jump tis high?

  • @MasonAngelosanto I've seen f1 boys for as low as 5k, anyone paying 20k I believe is paying too much. L

  • That is one beautiful cat. Thanks for sharing.

  • I have a black D.S.H. that big. At least I think he is domestic.

  • i love these cats, i with they werent so expensive:/

  • @Montanamarie4 You can get a F5 for $18 from WildTafari. They will get as big as Ruby currently is now(Shes only a kitten though.) Jesse and Jeana from PVP own a F5 check theirs out.

  • seems like she'd be better as an outdoor cat that can hunt her own food...course it would be hard to not lose her since she can probably get out of any fenced in area

  • is his head the 4 foot marker?

  • thats never 8 foot you wally

  • Put shoes on.

  • wow ur cat can jump high thats really impresive... bud dude u missed the first step at 1.33 not so impresive

  • Ruby didn't care much for the vigorous pat on the butt.

  • Thats gotta be a Maine Coon.

  • @ryda37 I would love to get 3 of those Main Coon your'e talking about, Let me know where I can get them.

  • @Lifeatthesharpend

Beautiful Savannah. I'm considering one of these in a few years. My Bengal keeps me quite occupied right now.

  • @ryda37 main coons are completely different they have a main and look more lion like ...hence the name main coon

  • @davyboy1212 It looks like a Savanah but I can distiguish a marking that tells me that this cat is in fact a main coon. Its close to a Savanah but not quite a replica of the species...

  • @ryda37 It's actually a Savannah ;)

  • what costs actually such a cat, and this breed is allowed in Germany

  • we have an F5. These cats are so awesome. I want an F1 one day! Ruby is gorgeous!!!

  • Hello im really interested in getting one of these could you tell me how much one like ures is and where i can get one?

  • Wow, Ruby is one fine cat! Love Savannah cats. I'd probably never have one, since I'm already hooked on Bengals, but still beautiful creatures.

  • oh man, i love these cats. wish i could afford one. too broke at the moment

  • so you seem like you know alot about these cats....can you tell me which states that it is legal to own a serval...maybe the easiest ones?...i live in bolton massachusetts and this town is probably one of the MOST illegal places in the world to own a serval or a hybrid of one. thanks

  • @petah333 She is not a serval, I do not own a serval. I do not know where it is legal to own a serval either, sorry.L

  • What a fantastic creature

  • 3:20 is like the ceiling height of the other room!!!

  • She is really beautiful , I wanted one of these but my husband went way past the ideal of me wanting a housecat that was huge , and went and bought a english bulldog . Ugh Men !

  • Savannah Cats really do what they want, even when trained they still have that wild instinct. This one is pretty tamed, but still has a mind of it's own lol.

  • 1:32 he miss the ladder xD!!

  • Way to go Ruby that is so cool.. ! Thanks so much for sharing

  • It would be cool to secure a camera down, have the toy hanging just behind the camera, to see it jump right over the camera.

  • @Pla1nRa1nB0W I wouldn't think you would want a pure serval. Sounds like they might be fierce predatory cats. The labor it takes to get the sperm from the Serval male and inseminate a domestic house cat is surely tedious work. Not mentioning concieving healthy kittens and delivering them, possibly by C section, as done with bulldogs. In this case cause the kittens might be larger than domestic cats, therefore may need to be delivered sooner, prematurely. Just my theory on this. Not a fact.

  • fucking mlg jump

  • Wow, those are big cats.

I guess you'd have to be prepared to take one of these on, i mean they're a lot bigger than normal domestic cat's, probably eats as much as dog, and craps a ton as well? <.<

  • flapdrol

niet voor de gewone mens .mensen met veelgeld

  • flapdrol

  • Dude...Are you rich or something? I wish I could have a F1 Savannah but it is really expensive. The money that I could use to buy the cat is enough to buy a car.

  • @DavidAtomic Maybe a used car. not sure how much you think they are but I breed them and I have to have a F1 to produce F2's.

  • @Lifeatthesharpend ohhh. I see now. you are a breeder. Well, I heard that a F1 savannah can cost 20000 dollars. Also, I'm from Brazil. This is enough money to buy a car here.

  • @Lifeatthesharpend ......u can drive a used car back and forth to work..... even if it's 500 bucks (most of the time) how much is it for a 'used' savannah F2?

  • @woogeiwu I once had a used 500$ toyota in 2 months turned into a 1200$ used toyota and then in 6 months it was a 1500$ used toyota. a 500$used car will cost you, not recommended. Get a proper, well maintained used one.

  • @Lifeatthesharpend Well F-1's I see run about 20k, Thats a new car. I can see spending about 2,500 to 3,000 on one of these, seeing its comparable to a pure bred dog price. But, you can only get an F-4 F-5 for the price- Boo

  • AMAZING cat! video was a bit of a chore, maybe 4 minutes longer than it should've been *lol* and skip the narration next time, just throw in some cute music :)

  • learn your colors man. LOL

  • @savinaleef ....yea , no shit!. That was really embarrassing but somewhat funny.

  • 1:32 , ahaaaaaaa ya dafty.

  • PVP SAAAAN!

  • @babyfaceNicky hell yeah, there the reason i searched these cats.

  • O.O

  • Where did you get a toy like that?

  • Jump ! SAAANNN!!!!!

  • @TrejoTard PVP brought me here also!!!

  • does this kind loses any hair or do they do it alot ????

  • That cat is a ninja! o_O

  • My grandmother bought the daughter of this cat. true chiz.

  • HOLY SHIT!

  • im getting an savannah kitten do you know how to train them to listen like dogs

  • @iproall786 get a good book on clicker training for cats. Start there.

  • @Lifeatthesharpend thanks

  • So cool!

  • Amazing!!! i think i just fell in love <3<3

  • OK the 8 foot jump starts at 3:24

  • THAT CAT IS LIKE A MINIATURE TIGER!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @MyNinjaFishie She is suppose to look like a mini Serval.

  • @MyNinjaFishie cheetah dude

  • @xmnemonic The first jump is only a six foot jump

  • @Lifeatthesharpend hey u have an amazing F1... really wish to have one like her...i just had one question...do these cats get aggressive at a later stage of their life?? or are they tame enough to keep them as domestic pets...coz i really plan to have one sooner or later..how old is your cat now?? n how big is ruby in size?? really want to know! :)

  • @porsche11689 She is just over a 1 1/2 years old now. she has never been aggressive. All cats are different I have seen some F1's that are aggressive. All I can say is meet the kitten first and make sure it likes you. She is over 20 lbs now. I'm taking her to the SW TICA regional this weekend in Irvine.

  • press 5 dont be mean!!

  • My mom just got her 3rd savannah type cat I dont remember what size they are but they are all very very cute

  • can she dunk??

  • I've gotten my cat (Siamese/Tabby mix..I believe, we got him at the humane society) to jump about half an inch higher than my front door.

My cat jumps high as hell!

  • @StevenMProduction wow pretty good. Siamese cats are very lean and strong. Oriental short hair (OS) cats where used in the "Savannah" mix as outcrosses. OS cats are basically tabby versions of Siamese.

  • actually i heard they r $1,200 1 day im gunna get a savannah or a burmese python one of the two never both

  • @wolflover284 Their price depends on what generation. An F5 could be that price F1 normally go for $8000 to $20,000 depending on breeding and % of Serval

  • @Lifeatthesharpend

wow im still gonna have to go with burmese python cause i like reptiles alot better thn cats although i do love all animals even Spikes (tarantula)

  • yea like $20,000

  • She is incredible, I love her!

  • A cat is a thing of beauty and grace!

  • 1:47 matrix!

  • I just love that slow-motion jab at 1:47.

  • 1:12

    LONG CAT

  • @theycallmenavid Yes, but HOW LONG?

  • It can definitely bring down a bird. wow.

  • What if u cat brought in a bald eagle or suthin. would u still be impressed.

  • @gentlemenRick She is an "indoor only" cat.

  • @Lifeatthesharpend thats probly a good thing. if it doesnt bother u, how much did this cat cost? Cause i heard these bad boys are expensive.

  • @gentlemenRick I would rather not say. but probably less than most think.

  • @gentlemenRick of course i would be! Thats called NATURE. It happens all the time.

  • wooow! what a jump!

  • 3:28 Jordan lol

  • @ 1:32 he amlost failed...DAMN! That whould have been hilarious!

  • UPDATE!!

  • I'm guessing you don't have ceiling fans in your home. lol

  • @JoeRnCT Not in that room, but in the master bedroom I do and she does go and visit the blades every once in a while. I think she is just doing some dusting. The fans are off when she is in there.

  • A cat that is as loyal as a dog and the size of a medium dog? I gotta get me one!!!!!!

  • you think Ruby can jump over you with the right amount of speed?

  • @XxServalcat24xX If you stop the video at 3:32 and look at her mid section, it is equal in height as the top of the ladder. The ladder is 6 feet tall. I'm 5'5". If you think that instead she puts her vertical energy to clearing an object, like my head. I think she could easily do it back when this video was taken. She was only 7 months old then. She is currently 14 months old and much larger. To me, when I look at this video she looks small. My guess is that she could break her 8 foot record.

  • @Lifeatthesharpend k thanks for the feedback.

  • @Lifeatthesharpend Hello..I am interesting in owning one of these awesome Savannah's...I would like to know how much one would actually cost..I heard these are quite pricey.

  • @aj6116 aj, It really depends on where you get your cat and the quality. F1's can range anywhere from $8000 to as high as $18,000. The higher priced cats come from well known lines where people know what they look like as an adult. %serval will also affect the price. Nowdays breeders are also producing 75% and 62.5% F1's by breeding standard F1 or F2 back to a Serval. Those can run $15,000 to $25,000.

  • @Lifeatthesharpend : oy, you just smashed my dream of owning one. I guess I should sit back and keep on watching your video about Ruby

  • You have to REALLY love cats to pay that much for one! I would if i had the money lol

  • Hey guys I got one! Man this ones a bugger its breaking my rod!

    Got i- WTF a cat?!

  • She's Tony Jaa's cat

  • very impressive!

  • how much did you pay?

10 thousand seems steep but fuckin worth it, god i want one!

  • @foreverblunted718 not quite that much.

  • Ugh! I really really want one! I absolutely adore cats. I'm not sure what my cat will feel about one of these cats though lol.

It's a shame we can only get F5's here in Australia :(

  • Such a big, beautiful cat, all muscle, power and hopefully cuddeling

  • wow !!!! that is impresive !!!!!

    what a beautifull cat

  • how much bigger and taller will ruby get??

  • @JaredProject Probably not much taller, maybe 5%. she is 10 months old and they grow until 2 - 3 years old but mainly bulk out depending on the cat.

  • Idea is good but DUMB VID you cant even see the floor when she jumps 8 feet thats not cool. Remake it like you should have. It would have been amazing to actually see it

  • MJ would have been a more fitting name!

  • Amazing! What an athlete.

  • 0:57 meow meow meow....how sweet. :)

  • She is truly gorgeous and a fantastic jumper.

  • That's quite remarkable! Ruby is magnificent!

  • @Meridianbengals Thank you! I think this could be a record jump for a domestic cat. L

  • awww 0:54 she says i love you :D

  • wow thanks for telling me about this, Ruby is a specimen, is this a above average jump fpr a F1, Either way, thanks for postiing all these great savannah videos,

  • In Australia these cats are forbidden unfortunately. Ruby is magnificent and in superb condition. You look after her beautifully.

  • @wilkiecollinsiscool I'm sorry about them not being legal in Australia. Ruby for the most part is a big kitten and is super social. I feel that she acts more domestic than some domestics .L

  • Wow, quite impressive. My F6 needs more workout to be able to compete with Ruby ;).

  • note: at 3:32 it shows off how long she is , just over 3 1/2 feet. I measured fromt he center of the 2 white pieces of tape to the top green tap and it was 45" long from toe to toe. L

  • Very cool

  • She is amazing!! Love the slo-mo. It really shows how athletic she is.

  • Wow! Awesome! Miss Ruby is the Best!!!

  • beautiful savannah!

  • Note: Jump at 2:00 she grabs the mouse toy and puts it in her mouth. At this point she want to keep and but give it up with some reluctance. L

  • oh my gosh she is too fine...and so sweet....

  • Ruby is beautiful and very talkative. She doesn't seem to have any trouble making those jumps. Love the slow motion to let us see how athletic she is. =^.^=
