dark funeral does not suck they brought huge attention to the swedish black metal scene and i beleive theyre the only bm band to debut on the swedish top 40.i loved them for years theyre great band.diabolis interium proved their status as a supreme bm band.

I honestly don't understand why everyone always says Norwegian black metal is the best. Just because there are more black metal bands coming out of Norway than any other country doesn't make them the best. And besides, Swedish black metal is so much heavier.

i agree that Marduk and Dark funeral are really fucking Heavy \m/ but then think of Mayhem...they are norwegian, and heavy as fuck! plus i think its about the fast intense atmoshphere of which the Norwegian bands create, is what makes black metal!!!

I do not think black metal has a correct sound.

Because Gorgoroth, Bathory, darkthrone sounds sounds a little different to each other.

The fast, heavy and a little more trash, is just i different kind of black metal. in my opinion.
