Too many these days in rap fuck with people not because of aspects that actually pertain to music as in form, sub-genre, refined sense of style, or sleek word usage, true expression, willingness to experiment progressively. Too many rap fans only fuck with someone in rap because he gotta be a certain way, think a specific narrow way only, I understand the point in the fans here, but the true point is there is more to rap and music in general then a petty stance vs another petty point of view.
It's not like Drake makes the worst rap in the world in my opinion. He aint a fav of mine but he's ok . The hate speech here is a little misguided and more trivial then his actual party boy songs. Besides he has had moments of expressing some sense of important thought that almost contends with what riches he has know. His simple rhyme scheme and persuasive word play is nice, not to mention his beats are much more of an enhancer to his songs. But by no means is he my favorite or even a rapper I think is the best, but too much of rap is not only about party rap shit but rap in general falls short a lot of the time in many ways just like any genre of music, everything has it's limits. And gangsta rap can abd often is based off of real situations but there is far more to be concerned with then petty gangsta shit
