Miss America has a swimsuit portion so it is still a beauty pageant. Problem is, girls are not pretty enough to go on a battle againt Miss USA. Miss America focuses on the talent competition. Miss USA focuses on beauty. And by the way, I'm more educated than most Miss Americas would ever dream of.

Everyone is forgetting that talent plays a big part of the judging at Miss America. The winner is not just who is the prettiest and has the best body in swimsuit. I thought Teresa had a great talent and the final 2 were right on. I could have went with either Arkansas or Nebraska. Oklahoma looked great in swimsuit and gown but had a weaker talent that is probably why she finished 4th runner up.

In my opinion, Hawaii was by far the most well- rounded and clearly deserved to win. She was attractive, articulate and very sophisticated. Nebraska was a bad choice with her ignorant Sarah Palinesque response about Wiki Leaks and teen pageant contestant look. All of the final 4 were clearly better than Nebraska. Miss America: Hawaii, 1st ru: Oklahoma, 2nd ru: California, 3rd ru: Arkansas, 4th ru: Washington.
