  • In all honesty, I think it is refreshing to hear some pieces at a slower pace. It's sometimes nice because you hear some things that you don't necessarily catch at the faster clip. I know there's one recording of Carlo Curley playing the C minor Passacaglia and Fugue by J.S. Bach where he takes it markedly slower than most, and with a great deal of success. My only criticism is that I wish this was the whole piece!

  • What generally do people do at the end of this piece with regards to the large stretches in the left hand? (the part with the sustained A and the flowing semiquavers above it).

  • This is a little slow but an accurate performance. Nice :)

  • Nice but a little too slow. More detail. Wish the room were much more reflective for this glorius work.

Why not whole composition? Get excited and flow with the excitement. A pipe sounds strange in the pedal. Thank you. Hope you post more.

  • One Pedal reed is "DOubling" likely dirt in the reed. More reverd would have been nice. Slow - OK, but you can hear the notes and that is more important. To bad video did not focus on player instead of overexposed windows and under exp building

  • rather slowpaced, but still mindblowing. interesting...more please (to the uploader: full version would be much appreciated).

  • Speed up the tempo a bit, articulate a bit better, and it should be fine.

  • Nice job

  • Poor; Stick with the piano!

  • What would you know, Carol? Someone who favorites people playing Electones has no business making such harsh criticisms. I think this is a rather good interpretation. The recording quality isn't that great, probably why the articulation sounds a bit off. Non-educated people like you who go around criticizing organists far superior to yourself are a boon to our profession. If you don't have anything nice to say...

  • Your assessment is descriptive and subjective. You are pretty harsh without knowing acoustics of Building and repsonce of organ. It is slow - Yes - I can hear all those fast high notes during the pedal theme line. Usually obscured. That is HER interpretation - not yours. You play it better please - then post it. Be objective not nasty.
