  • @steve4ha well im sorry i am only ten years old ok? I have just gotten it and i was diagnosed while my dad was and is still in Afghanistan. I thought you didnt have it. I am sorry but you dont have to say all of that

  • @IvaHogue No, I'm sorry. You have a rough life ahead of you, don't make the same mistake that I did and think it's ok to eat anything and just take extra insulin for it. For a long time (years) my average blood sugar was in the 400's and I'm just now regulating my sugars and don't have to deal with constant pain and nueropathy (as much). If you don't take care of yourself you'll be an asshole like me. ;)

  • @steve4ha It's ok you know it is sooo hard to manage it because i have to take a shot for everything that i eat except protein. I am sorryfor being mean to you. My blood has only been in then 300's alot but mostly 100's or 200's so yeah do you think we can be friends?

  • @IvaHogue If you eat something with starches or sugars you'll have those lingering high blood sugars, your numbers will only come down when you've eaten well for a couple weeks. I understand how you're feeling right now, it will only get better with a strict lifestyle. You can be healthy, I went from sleeping 18-20 hours a day to now I do competition jiu jitsu (I've won 2 gold medals) and I'm boxing full time. Yeah, we can be friends, I'll send you some tube vids on Diabetes.

  • @IvaHogue By the way, you should have at least asked me why I don't like insulin so much..

  • @steve4ha type 1 diabetics can't live without insulin. it have nothing to do with diet

  • @steve4ha Oops sorry when I posted that I did not know you were type 1 like my son, best wishes to you!

  • Fascinating. I got it in '68, age 5. 41 years, still slim, trim, strong and active. I have been down to 10, near death, but have always come back. No eyesite problem, nor organ degeneration. I sometimes wonder, after a serious low, did I actually time travel to a former century, or was that hallucination? Any others travel when experiencing lows? Regards, Robert MySpace: frozenimage3

  • @mazeppa689 you are a survivor i am ten and i have had it for a few months so yeah i was on needles but now im on a pen :)
