Tertullian AD 200 "You have Rome where authority is at hand for us too." Cyprian AD 251 "If someone does not hold fast to this unity of Peter, can he still be confident that he is in the Church?" Jerome AD 396 "I follow no leader but Christ and join with the chair of Peter." Augustine AD 416 "Who is ignorant that the first of the apostles is the most blessed Peter?" Council Ephesus AD 431 "Peter, pillar of the faith and foundation of the Catholic Church, received the keys of the kingdom." TRUTH!
@thrufaithalone Well then, early Christians would not have had "truth" for 40-50 years AFTER Christ's Resurrection because that's how long it was before the earliest Gospels were written. Your not making sense. Protestants have developed a narrow vision in their reading of Scripture. It also says: "So then, brethren, stand firm and hold to the traditions which you were taught by us, either by word of mouth or by letter." (2 Thess). Catholicism=COMPLETE TRUTH, Other Christian Faiths = DEFICIENT.
Of course some Protestant pastors are going to wake up and reject Sola Scriptura. It's NOT historical and it's NOT biblical. God always draws us towards Truth so Sola Scriptura MUST BE DENIED by those who seek Truth. The Church Fathers spoke against it: Irenaeus AD 189 - "The blessed apostles handed over the office of the episcopate to Linus" as does Scripture: 1 Timothy 3:15: "the household of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and bulwark of the truth." SEEK TRUTH PEOPLE!
The Crusades began not because the Pope wanted to invade the Holy Land. It started because the Byzantine Emperor pracitaclly begged the Pope to help ward off the Ottoman Empire.Martin Luther the man that removed 7 books from the Bible, Martin Luther the man who wanted to remove the Book of James. Come one
Excellent, thank you brother Sam. For this has been prophesied in Rev. 13, 17 and 18. How Babylon (tries) to lure her daughters back. Thanks, Yah Bless, Lobe & Mercy
Thanks, deborahbetty. When people are bored by Bible, they go for the magic fruit like the woman did, ADDING to the Word, Genesis 3:4-5. Same thing. Bible and only Bible bores most people, so they pretend God inscrutable, Bible inscrutable -- to excuse their negativity.

@ChristianFirefighter Jesus said "Thy Word is truth". It is the only objective truth we have; it is the only objective truth we need.
