Dude ive played WoW for 3 years as an Orc Warrior, im not gonna lie I love WoW but ive quit cause I do not like it anymore with pvp, its no fun anymore unless your op and pve is fun but repeatitive, and right now im on WARs endless trial and im loving it and I can only go to lvl 10 ive lvl like 3s chars and its really fun. Its mostly pvp but they have Public quests and stuff that are fun too. And plus in WAR the grahpics are nice and the armor is sick. So WAR wins because its fun and no trollers

WoW vs War is not "Clash of Titans" because War is not a titan. War is D E A D and WoW still lives and breaths. After GW2 and Swtor come out WoW will have new competition and War will be totally vanqiushed.

@babybombermon I agree with you but I have to say that War is much better. I won't mention graphics, because graphics are not gameplay, but the graphics in war are better, none the less. In war, you have RvR, renoun, public quests (which is where I think Rift got it's rifts ideas from, maybe) to let everyone on the server work together, and not sitting around in flashy gear, spamming and trolling like idiots. Rift has attracted some of the trolls, but they never partake in the rifts. Go figure.

WoW has killed itself in so many ways. Years ago when I played, it was when Wrath came out, and I was also playing WH. WarHammer's quests, RvR, and characters are soooo much better; IMO. Not to mention wow's graphics BLOW. And down every tuesday.....nah, I don't pay for down time. Blizz will go down in flames from the obnoxious kiddies magnetizing to it and creating the "hardcore" vs casual crap, spamming, vulgarities, etc. It just turns off new players.

@Bllackguard666 Cataclysm does have improved graphics. some previous locations are turned to fire and rubble and there is an awesome new water engine. if you have a decent GPU then you'll experience incredible detailed graphics in this game.
@pureblood445 I know that the whole "warcraft" thing is meant to be cartoonish, but the player models could of been improved. I have a top shelf gaming comp. so I never had probs. I run all games on full, well...I do remove the crap I don't choose to see. Like ground clutter, etc. Just because it's needless to see at all. Rift, Oblivion, Fallout(s), run great.
My issue is why didn't they make the (male models especially) on alliance look more like the Vykruls?? They had a great improved look.
I prefer WoW the PvP is total ass but thats not what the game is based on. Its a PvE based game and the raid and dungeon content ive seen is unrivled. Especially with the new Cata xpac. I played the 10 day beta for WAR and it made me almost quit WoW so thats just as good a game just wish it had better endgame

When trying WoW I experienced many trolls, lots of 12 year olds, and a terrible gaming system that is much much much too easy. Not to mention the terrible graphics and boring ass gameplay.
WAR's PvP is epic in many ways through the tier, you don't need to be rank 40 to do something, there are loads of things to do beforehand and the gameplay was engaging, and there were nearly no children playing the game.
WoW has also become somewhat as a kid's game over the yeas.

Wow is currently a good game and so is war, but I think that cata will suck and make people start playing war instead. Which is kinda sad becouse when I played wow I played Wotlk and i would play Wotlk now if I had a computer. I think that War has some better graphics than wow, not that i care about graphics but a lot of people do. Wow has a better gameplay experience, at least that is my oppinion. For you who haven't tried them, I think you should try both, cuz they are both rly great games.
I play warhammer 40k tabletop and WAR age of reckoning, I also used to play wow.
They are both great games. War is more PVP based and WoW is more PVE based. I prefer WAR though becase of the RVR. Fighting for control of zones and eventually pushing towards the enemies capital city has got to win points against wow battlegrounds, But I really cant say because I've always prefered PVP.

Played both games but wow just comes out on top because of the amazing gameplay , may no have great graphics but the amount of Fun I have had is amazing , wow all the way!
Anyway I have played WAR and couldn't play for more than a few hours withour quitting for a month, so boring, WoW on the other hand has kept me amused for years now. WoW all the way, not coming from a fanboi point of view.
I played WoW, and I've played WAR. What's my preference? I'd say WAR. I'm more of a pvp person, and with WoW? No... I'd rather nail my dick to a wall then play WoW pvp.. I just got done playing in a 70 on 80 fight where Order was defending a castle and Destruction was trying to take it over. Destruction eventually pushed and took over the castle. Overall, I think it's much more exciting then WoW.

This kid made some errors on the WoW side..first off it was released in 2004 not 2005, second WoW is not strictly PvE based PvP takes over alot of the game now and ever since release it's only gottten bigger and bigger.

Ive got to go with WoW its just that in WAR there is a class for tanking and a class for DPS in WoW you can be a warrior then once you hit the LvL cap you can change from a DPS to a tank just from geting def gear.

Dwarve melee are Slayers now instead of hammerers, Dark Elf & High Elf are also there to be play. WAR class give many variaties & it is fun to play. I love you fanboys. I have to say, the argument of which MMORPG game is better, World of Warcraft (WoW) or Warhammer Online (WAR), doesn't matter. WAR has large scale PvP, WoW has a large and involving lore and Instances are a great aspect to the game. The Wrath of the Lich King (WotLK) expansion added the large PvP area of Wintergrasp and further developed the Lore and instances. And bickering over which series was around first is irrelevant to the games themselves. Like them for what they are.
@QtipRocketLauncher I have only played WoW, which is why I say more about it. And I do not deny the flaws of the game. Boring quests sometimes come in, but do not detract from my enjoyment. With the announcement of Cataclysm, WoW wll have a third expansion, and have a total of 12 races and 10 classes. Along with many Professions and a large, customizable skill tree. Dual Specs added more to do, along with achievements. You can't say that WoW "Sucks" when it dominates the MMO Market.
warhammer is rediculously fun but it takes to much team coordination to have fun for baddies. WoW is challenging in pvp, and it can be simple in pvp yet it is very fun either way. As for PvE WoW takes it all because the fights are so well scrypted. Warhammer is really fun but it is for more of a focused group and wow is for the masses.

World of Warcraft was a great Game until BC, but with the Lich King it get even more Worse than Runes of Magic. Simple PVE Content which is Manageable by apes with not more than 3 Keys to hit.
Warhammer ist the best of PVP - Point.
AoC ist the best Graphics and Atmosphäre and takes much more skill from a Player in PVE than World of Warcraft.

@DeBlader09 Dude everyone likes thier own game. i personally like WAR cause it gives you a feeling that your very imporant in the game and can participate in stuff that are fun early in the game while WoW your just a new guy struggling to lvl up to a high lvl to participate in better dungeons and raids. I like WoW raids but it gets boring. Plus Wow has been out for a while so it has time to gather that many peple with thier ads. And one more thing WAR has a very fast growing population.

@DeBlader09 And check this stuff, WAR was released in 2008 and Wow in 2005? not sure, there are three years for wow + wow came first so there was no copmetition and many people were accustomed to wow and many dont want changes. Another stuff, many of wow- players are kids or 15y n' younger. And as you know i play wow too and i know what is better. And i wasn't saying that you are an idiot becouse you play wow, but becouse of your mode of expression and yelling without any real arguments.

Wow is currently a good game and so is war, but I think that cata will suck and make people start playing war instead. Which is kinda sad becouse when I played wow I played Wotlk and i would play Wotlk now if I had a computer. I think that War has some better graphics than wow, not that i care about graphics but a lot of people do. Wow has a better gameplay experience, at least that is my oppinion. For you who haven't tried them, I think you should try both, cuz they are both rly great games.

I play warhammer 40k tabletop and WAR age of reckoning, I also used to play wow.
They are both great games. War is more PVP based and WoW is more PVE based. I prefer WAR though becase of the RVR. Fighting for control of zones and eventually pushing towards the enemies capital city has got to win points against wow battlegrounds, But I really cant say because I've always prefered PVP.

I played WoW, and I've played WAR. What's my preference? I'd say WAR. I'm more of a pvp person, and with WoW? No... I'd rather nail my dick to a wall then play WoW pvp.. I just got done playing in a 70 on 80 fight where Order was defending a castle and Destruction was trying to take it over. Destruction eventually pushed and took over the castle. Overall, I think it's much more exciting then WoW.

This kid made some errors on the WoW side..first off it was released in 2004 not 2005, second WoW is not strictly PvE based PvP takes over alot of the game now and ever since release it's only gottten bigger and bigger.

Ive got to go with WoW its just that in WAR there is a class for tanking and a class for DPS in WoW you can be a warrior then once you hit the LvL cap you can change from a DPS to a tank just from geting def gear.

To remind you all that this vid was made in 07 & now it is 10, WAR changed & WOW changed. I never played WOW but all of my friends did & I had read many things about WOW. I play WAR and I am already in love to it. The vid misses couple things since WAR isn't ready by then. Dwarve melee are Slayers now instead of hammerers, Dark Elf & High Elf are also there to be play. WAR class give many variaties & it is fun to play. And from what I played WOW & from what I'd seen, many people choose WAR.

I love you fanboys. I have to say, the argument of which MMORPG game is better, World of Warcraft (WoW) or Warhammer Online (WAR), doesn't matter. WAR has large scale PvP, WoW has a large and involving lore and Instances are a great aspect to the game. The Wrath of the Lich King (WotLK) expansion added the large PvP area of Wintergrasp and further developed the Lore and instances. And bickering over which series was around first is irrelevant to the games themselves. Like them for what they are.

@QtipRocketLauncher I have only played WoW, which is why I say more about it. And I do not deny the flaws of the game. Boring quests sometimes come in, but do not detract from my enjoyment. With the announcement of Cataclysm, WoW wll have a third expansion, and have a total of 12 races and 10 classes. Along with many Professions and a large, customizable skill tree. Dual Specs added more to do, along with achievements. You can't say that WoW "Sucks" when it dominates the MMO Market.

warhammer is rediculously fun but it takes to much team coordination to have fun for baddies. WoW is challenging in pvp, and it can be simple in pvp yet it is very fun either way. As for PvE WoW takes it all because the fights are so well scrypted. Warhammer is really fun but it is for more of a focused group and wow is for the masses.

However i think WAR is the better game imo. I've tried both, WoW i got bored on withing 2 weeks, WAR i played for about 1½ year.

World of Warcraft was a great Game until BC, but with the Lich King it get even more Worse than Runes of Magic. Simple PVE Content which is Manageable by apes with not more than 3 Keys to hit.
Warhammer ist the best of PVP - Point.
AoC ist the best Graphics and Atmosphäre and takes much more skill from a Player in PVE than World of Warcraft.
Thats a fact.
World of Warcraft was patched to death - now it is like Hello Kitty Online Adventures with Tier sets XD
