Eh. Nitro is king when there's lots of long straight aways and sweepers. On a short course with lots of corners the electric will win every time unless the driver is all kinds of suck.
Cool track. Maybe a couple of equal drivers would show the cars differences better. Personally I like the smell of nitro but not the noise. So I drive electric.
the guy with the nitro buggy cant drive at all. im sure the electric buggy could have lapped him quite a few times if he didnt stop for the nitro buggy to catch up
Not true. A nitro engine has to have time to cool and the receiver packs will need re-charging. Brushless gives instant power which is better for all but the biggest of tracks.
Nitro and Electric are both awesome. I love the sound of nitro and rooster tails and smoke, good stuff. But a really nice brushless setup is king, instant power.
Lol, I used to think the same thing as you did..."batteries are for flashlights, blah-blah, etc." But my eyes were opened when I saw my first 1/8 buggy conversion at the local track, and now I plan on converting my old MBX5 to brushless. Sure the start-up for electrics are high, but have you priced premium big-block .21's? Fuel and glow plugs? How about piston and sleeve rebuilds?

nitro doesn't have a motor you dumbass it's an engine and how are standing backflips with a revo "boring" it just isn't as fucking anoying I should know I started on nitro and it hasn't been touched since my rustler vxl and now I even have a brushless 1/8 buggy on 4s doing 50mph ohh and I could easily get 6s and hit 70 let's see a nitro do that by a less then $160 addition to the car
@gpnitro you will find nitro has a high top end. plus you cant compare acceleration at all... eletric has instant torq... no clutch... how is that even in the same catagory

pffff petrol is the moost power just try the baja 5b ss and then come talk about elevtric this s normal i play at softest dunes u would find the sane to ur stomach that what i call duunes if u stand on them,
and electric for small races not like morheb hill electric cant do this baja passes it easly so 1 thing electric canot be used for any thing just light these things they r cool but im telleing the truth no offence :)
the type of car doesnt matter its the driver

nitros better electric will go full out for wht 10-15 mins and battery will start to die nitro u can go as fast as u want for as long as u want.

And you still have rx batteries to charge.
