I am also a looong-time Morbid fan but I gotta say of all the shows and soundchecks I've been through I have never seen a single one where the soundguy asks for a kick sample and the drummer goes off on a 3-minute solo. The groove, sound and power he had is unmatched; The people who come close might be Moon, Ward, Mitchell, Brewer, Baker and the like.

For me drumming is about feeling & groove.

I know you really really like Led Zep, i love it too, but fuck it, when it comes to technique usually death metal comes in first place. Mitch had one hell of a groove and Baker was brilliant in Cream; The drumwork he performs live is incredible.

Also his drumming from their reunion a couple of years back is very sweet, not as freaked out though.

The Drummer in Grand Funk is also awesome.

Those three are my favorite, they did all play with the band Death an incredible coincidence but they are also incredible.

George Kollias comes right after although he is technically stronger than Sean.
