  • Isn't this the one from Level 4?

  • It might be. DE reuses so many song through out their games I lose track of where songs originally appeared.

Heh if you like this game check out these other great Data East games.

    Night Slashers

Crude Buster(The better original version of TCD's)

    Trio The Punch:Never Forget me

    Atomic Runner Chelnov

    Sly Spy

    Robocop2

    Midnight Resistance

  • Actually, I just checked and the Level 4 tune was used for one of the end bosses. It's not the same song as this one.

Data East is awesome. They published Shadowrun for the SNES. That also has a good soundtrack. I didn't know about Crude Busters. I'll have to check that out as I will the rest of the games you listed. Thanks, Dale!

Hey, do you agree that this game had a good story? I thought it was cool in that mysterious and bizarre type way future stories had back then.

  • Those are all arcade games.

  • I just checked out Crude Buster. It had better graphics and all, but the music wasn't as good as it is on the Genesis version. The intro also had more details, like the explosions were actually seen in New York City.

  • The Genesis had a lot of cool games. One of my favorites was Shadow Dancer: The Secret of Shinobi. It took place in my favorite then-future year of 1997. Awesome game!
