  • God Bless John Hughes. He is still with us through his wonderful films. He is my inspiration, why I became a screenwriter. RIP John-Thanks for all the teen angst!!

  • Jesus! Molly Ringwalds got some moves at 0:14

  • I mean 0:16

  • I want to say ty to the poster for posting this vid and thank you to John Hughes. His films had a great impact on the 80s and 90s. This man will never be forgotten for what he shared with us through his films..

  • John Hughes will never die in the permanent form of film

  • Rest in peace, John Hughes.

  • so awesome, thanks for posting.

  • I think there was some sort of "Brat Pack" in the 90's and no-one noticed lol...or it wasn't that important.

There were some teen films with actors that appeared together often in somewhat iconic films of the 90's:

Reesse Witherspoon, Ryan Phillippe, Selma Blair, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Neve Campbell, Freddie Prince Jr., Matthew Lillard.

    Cruel Intentions

    She's All That

I know What You Did Last Summer

    Scream

    Did anyone notice???

  • No, because those films didn't have the lasting pop culture impact as the brat pack movies. Breakfast Club, Pretty in Pink, Ferris Bueller, Sixteen Candles, etc. resonated with teenagers in a huge way. I enjoyed the films you listed, but they don't compare in terms of impact. People still quote lines and scenes from the Brat Pack movies 20 years later.

  • This film produces a beautiful nostalgia to me. This movie accompanied me when I was 10 years old or when I had 15 or 17. IT IS AN INCREDIBLE HYMN OF THE 80S!

AGUANTE "THE BREAKFAST CLUB" CARAJO!!!!! AGUANTE EL CINE DE LOS 80 LA PUTA MADRE!!!!!! (The cinema of the 80s is the best!!!)
