ok ive seen many videos of Mudvayne live and this is the only video ive seen that i can say that Chad Lee Gray's voice sucks ass in... otherwise hes amazing... but damn this is an off night for him.
It is a worry how religion is dictating the music industry nowadays. I have nothing against religious people, but everything against religion as an ethos. Religion should never dictate anything, i.e. stem cell research as an example, its preventing life-saving surgery. It is fucking up medicine, music, everything!!!

I think the "church hating" comes from the fact that Mudvaynes lyrics incorperate their personal interests, which is the occult. Matt has a tattoo of The Order of the Golden Dawn symbol on his chest, and in numerous interviews they talk at length about the occult, magick, alchemy, etc. The video for death blooms features astral projection, for example.

Mudvayne haven't "softened", they've dropped much of the regressive nu-metal elements of their past works for a more progressive and unique sound in the nu-metal genre. Their instrumentation and songwriting skills are leaps and bounds ahead of where they were 5 years ago. Songs like "Choices", "Just", "Rain Sun Gone", "World So Cold", "Not Falling", etc.... blow away most of L.D. 50...

if you start to not like a band because their sound changed slightly and isn't like any of their other albums then your probably not that big of a fan anyway. So go look for another band mate, bands change sounds its a natural progression, that is if they are a good band and don't just play what everyone expects them to play so the same people will buy their albums they play what they want to play so go sook somewhere else

In all honesty, I have no clue how people can like this. "This" being what Mudvayne have become. It sounds like a different band. It's horrible. It makes me sad to think about, because they were one of my favorite bands. Still, they are very good musicians. Most of them, atleast. It's just this album... This horrible melodramatic piece of crap.
Nah man, ive seen it live, in Portland Oregon last summer. i just wanted to see it again becuase it was AMAZING he made the speakers squeak becuase he was so loud and high pitched haha
